Whats Going on Duggar Family??

TLC's controversial family is now back in the headlines this time on another Duggar. Joseph Duggar, the seventh member of the Duggar family and star of the TLC show 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On, was arrested and charged for lewd and lascivious behavior on a child under 12 years old. According to the news reports, the abuse took place in 2020 during their family vacation. A ten-year-old family friend claims then 26-year-old lured the girl to sit on his lap tried to touch her inappropriately. However, he isn't the only one. Joseph's wife has also booked for child assault and now they are on the verge of losing their children.

The Duggar Family started off when Jim Bob and Michelle, a conservative Christian made the cover of the newspaper for having a large family. They drew more attention in news special and Discovery Health. That was until TLC reached out to the Duggar family to start a reality show for their channel. The show went from 13 kids and counting, 14 Children and Pregnant Again, 16 Children and Moving In, and 19 Kids and Counting. The show drew attention for the family friendly audiences. That was until a shocking secret causing the show to be cancelled.

Josh was ultimately sent away from home for three months. Jim Bob told police that during this time Josh stayed at the Veterans' affairs Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, allegedly attending a counseling program run by a Christian ministry that involved physical labor. However, Michelle Duggar would later tell police that Josh was not involved in counseling, instead working under a family friend to help remodel the building. According to Jill Duggar's memoir Counting the Cost, she says her parents told her that Josh had a temporary construction job with family friends. One month after the show's cancellation, the Ashley Madison data breach revealed that he had paid for sexual services while he was married. One of the sex workers claimed that Josh had manipulated and abused her violently and sexually. TLC rebooted the Duggar's reality show as Counting On later in 2015, focusing on the older Duggar children and their spouses and children. Josh and his wife stayed together despite of cheating allegations and molestation against his sisters.

Once again, the show was canceled in 2021 after Josh Duggar was arrested for child p*rn possession. In March 2026, it was revealed that Joseph Hutchens, the Arkansas state trooper to whom the sex abuse was reported in 2006 and who assisted Josh and Jim Bob Duggar by not taking further action, was also serving a prison sentence, in this case a 56-year sentence for child pornography charges. Hutchens later alleged that the Duggar family made an effort to conceal the extent of Josh's sex abuse.

Recently, Josh called out his parents for unloading text messages for the public as a PR stunt.

So basically the family is falling apart this year.

Honestly, someone in the family is teaching them this type of behavior. It wouldn't happen if because if it can happen to the oldest, it can happen to the youngest. The WHOLE Family needs to be investigated. It seems to me they get it from the patriarch of the family or the preacher who taught them to take advantage of the family or any young girls or who knows. This is why I can’t stand when these so-called Republicans or Conservatives would say “PROTECT THE CHILDREN” and when they caught taking advantage of children it just irks me.
