The REVENGE 

(The Gift)

This story begins with a sweet and shiny day. When Alessia Shine and Vanessa Cooper the two best friends were enjoying their last day of school before summer vacation. Alessia was the kind and sweetest girl in class. Vanessa was offhand but a collaborator to everyone. And they two were the best illustration of friends in their society. They lived in Argentina (Mendoza).

They two were very brave. Even if they were girls but they aren’t scared of lizards and cockroaches. Alessia wants to be an investigator because she loves investigating since childhood. Other than this she was always in search to unfold a mystery. Like old temples, old houses, and many places like mountains and churches. And Vanessa was everywhere with her. Vanessa wants to be a layer. She always says that if Miss Shine will be arrested because of her investigating theories then I will help her.

After some days when Alessia was watching her best and favorite serial “MY LUCKY WISH”. Suddenly she remembered about Vanessa’s birthday after 2 days. For some minutes she thought that what will she going to do about her birthday gift. Then she decided to go to the “Front Mall “near her house. She takes some money from her mom. Some for her new dress and some for Vanessa’s birthday gift. When she reached the mall, she goes through every shop but she didn’t find something special for her friend to buy. She was very tense about the birthday gift that she didn’t think to take her dress first.

When she was coming out of the mall her eyes catch a woman selling lockets in a street but no one was buying she was begging everyone to buy but it didn’t have any effect on people. Alessia thought of her poorness and moved to buy the locket. When Alessia asked the lady to give her the best locket for her friend. Then the deep-rooted lady opens her old suite case and took some lockets out of that. The lockets were very pretty and glamorous. They were shiny like the stars in the night. When Alessia asked about the cost. Then the lady replied that each locket cost 30 dollars. After listening to the cost, she got sad because she wasn’t having that much money to buy two of them cuz she also has to buy a dress for herself. She told the lady not to sell those lockets because she is not having that much money now to buy them both. Then the lady replied very softly no you don’t have to be the sad young lady you just have to pay for one the second one is free.

At that time, she was very happy that she didn’t think about why the lady is giving that expensive locket to her without taking any cost and what could be the reason. She got home and show it to her mother and told the whole story. Her mother got angry and told her to give that locket back to the lady. At that time, she agreed with her mom and tell her that she will be going to give that locket back to the lady tomorrow. But when she got to her room, she decided to hide the locket because she don’t want to give that back as it was valuable to her.

(The Birthday)

On Venessa’s birthday, Alessia got ready and just tried to get on time for the party. But unfortunately, she got late she was with her dad in the car and accidentally the tire got burst and the car stop in the center of the road. And to take the car to the roadside took a bit of time. Which was very difficult because the road was blocked and everyone was giving the horn. At the end of their waiting skills, people call the police to take charge of blocking the road and wasting others’ time. So as a rule police have to come and have to take the charge. After paying the charge Alessia’s father called their car mechanic to repair the damages and at that time Alessia was just panicking about being late. So, after that Alessia’s father hired a cab and drop Alessia at Venessa’s birthday party. When Alessia reached there then after watching Alessia Venessa turned red. She was very angry; she was staring at her very hard. Alessia said sorry 100 times for being late. But she didn’t accept she continuedly saying one sentence “You are my best friend and you have to be with me at the start of the party to welcome other friends” “And now you are the last guest at my party”. Alessia says very sweetly and slowly that “Do you wanna see your gift it is so pretty and magical”. She turned around and when her eye catches sight of the locket, she can’t stop watching it. Alessia told Venessa that she also has the same. She also shows hers. They both just started staring at their locket. When someone just called Venessa and Alessia to cut the cake. They just felt like coming back from a magical world where they don’t know what was it. What they just have felt? It was something very magical for them. After that, they cut off the cake and enjoyed it. But they didn’t get time to talk about the locket. Next for some weeks, they forgot about the locket and the hypnotism. Their school got open and they start their routine again. But after a long time, Venessa left the country because of her father’s posting.

(The Lady)

One day during the Break Alessia was talking about the birthday party and gifts. Where she mentioned her locket. Listening to the name of the locket Venessa remembered something and said “You know what when you handover my locket and l was looking at it with my staring eyes Then I just heard something quite different from ever. The word I heard was you are a true friend but be careful about your life.” I was thinking what was that it is some type of riddle”. After this Alessia also agreed with her and said “I can understand how you felt”. First Venessa says yes you can. Then she got surprised and said what”. Alessia laugh at her reaction because it was so funny. But after that, she tells that “Seriously I do also listen to some words”. The words were something like “You are the true friend forever and now” then they both fell in deep thinking about how they can listen to something from a locket. But as Alessia was good at science she told Venessa that it could be some type of mechanism to prank people and to have fun. After then they end their discussion. But they both weren’t the type of girls who can step backward. And now for them, it was a new mystery to solve.

So, the next day they went to the mall to find the lady and to buy one more locket so they can open it and can find out what type of mechanism they have used. When they reached the mall, they couldn’t find the lady. They also asked so many peoples but no one knows about her. Even the people were saying that they use to come here daily but they haven’t seen any lady sailing lockets. They were disappointed but they didn’t give up. On the third day when they were in the search of the lady. Then an old man came and told her that “I know my dear child that to whom are you finding? But what you have seen wasn’t real. And you are wasting your time now you can’t find her and it’s the reality so accept the fact.” After that, the man steps backward and moves on his way before both of the girls could say something. He turned again and said, “Now your unfortunate has started”. Alessia followed him in the street and now he has vanished. They didn’t think much about it. And let it go. After what the man said Alessia loses her hope to find the lady and get to her normal routine.

(The Surprise)

They don’t get to know how hours, days, weeks, months, and years have passed. And now they were more than 20 years old. Alessia has done the initial studies of being a detective and Venessa was still studying the law. One day Venessa called Alessia and asked her to go to their favorite coffee shop because she have sent a gift for her and there her cousin will be going to hand over that parcel to Alessia. Then Alessia agreed and went to the coffee shop on the date and time that Venessa told her. She sat at the table to wait and ordered a coffee. Next, she starts scrolling on her phone where she found her first picture with Venessa and got lost in the memories. Suddenly she felt that someone has put a hand on her shoulder. She thought that it might be someone from her college friend. When she turned around, she got shocked. Tears started coming out of her eyes. She was so happy because it was Venessa. They both hugged each other while crying. After then they talked for about one and a half-hour. Where Venessa told Alessia that she was the first whom she met after coming to Mendoza.

At the end of their conversation, Alessia asked Venessa about the locket which she gave her at her 11th birthday party and Alessia also showed her locket which she was still wearing. For some time, Venessa kept quiet and tried to change the topic. But it was of no use because Alessia was still on the same page Here is your locket. After a long time, Venessa replied that “I lost it”. Then to defend herself she starts giving reasons to cover the answer. Alessia said, “ok that is not a big issue. It was just an ordinary locket nothing else so I have to go now because it’s my time to study”. “BYE”. Now Alessia got a little off. Besides what she says she was feeling very disheartened because her best friend lost the gift, she gave her.

Because she was disheartened, she doesn’t call Venessa and not even tried to meet her somewhere. She also didn’t get any call from Venessa. But Alessia didn’t think about it much because she knows that Venessa might be busy meeting other relatives.

One day when Alessia has overcome her anger she went to meet Venessa at her home. When she got back, she didn’t say a single word she directly went to her room. Her mother asked, “Hey! Alessia what about your meeting and when Venessa is coming for dinner before she goes back to London”. “Don’t talk about her she will never be going to come she is gone” Alessia shouts. Then her mother thought that it would be better to leave her alone so she left the room. Alessia was so upset because she has planned so many things to do together before Venessa goes back and the biggest thing that hearted her was that Venessa didn’t tell or inform Alessia that she is going back.

(The First Case)

Now Alessia has forgotten everything about what happened last year. She had now moved forward in her life. And she was so happy because she had completed her studies and now was an official agent. But she was still in the search of a good detective agency. Before she started her career her parents thought to construct a separate room in the backyard so Alessia can solve the mysteries there without any disturbance. Then they also hired some labor to construct a swimming pool in the garden.

The construction was going on. “It’s very hard to dig more. I think something is buried in the soil” a man said. After digging more, they found a box they all pulled it out. Someone said it could be treasure others said it could be maps or waste documents. Then their leader ordered them to open the box. At the other minute, everyone efforted to open the box, and after opening the box. Everyone was surprised there was a pin-drop silence everywhere. The moment Alessia reached there she asked "What is happening over here”. And when she got near the only thing, she could see was the same locket on a skeleton’s neck that she has given to Venessa on her birthday. Alessia sat on her keens and pulled out the locket and after some minutes she said “It means Venessa has died”. Now the whole society was so down. But Alessia wasn’t so sad. Other than she was "the best friend of Venessa, she was also a good detective. So, she put this whole scenario as her first case and started to solve it. Because she wanted to know who was the murderer.

(The Investigation)

The first thing Alessia have done was to check the CCTV footage of her house with her case partner Jack. But they didn’t find anything. Next Alessia tried to Track the last location of Venessa’s mobile phone where she got to know that Venessa’s mobile got switched off on 15 February near the same coffee shop, she meets her last time. Then they both went to Mendoza’s city hall where they could find all the CCTV footage of 15 February around that coffee shop. After watching that footage more than one time they both spotted two kidnappings near that coffee shop. So, then, they both write their reports and progress about the case and submitted to their agency. After collecting the report, the agency ordered Jack to work on the other kidnapping whereas Alessia will work on the same case because she was Venessa’s friend and she knows her very well and her relations with others.

Now Alessia was searching that car in different footage which was used to kidnap Venessa. And finally, she got to the point where that car got stopped, and afterward from that point three-man took Venessa somewhere near the woods. Then she packed her bag and was just ready to leave her home in the morning in the search of that criminal point near the woods where innocent people are being kept as prisoners.

At the end of the day, Alessia got successful in her mission and found that place she was very lucky that she was able to go inside and come back without being watched by any crook in that old broken house. She saw more than 10 people but she was shocked because Venessa, was still alive, she didn’t die. After coming home Alessia was not able to find out why these crooks are kidnapping people and what could be the reason. She was also so confused about the dead body she found in her garden. But she didn’t tell anyone that Venessa is still alive. Because she thought that if there is someone involved in that kidnapping from society then they can kill Venessa.

(The Pen Drive)

Alessia was trying to remember something. That she heard when that man talking on his phone. In the end, she got it the man was talking something about money. He was saying when are you sending the money for those parts? Alessia was still not getting the point. She spent half of the day thinking about that what is the connection between those kidnappings and that parts and what type of parts was that man talking about. Suddenly she shouts “OH! MY GOD, it means Organ trade”. Then she remembered the people she saw there. None of them were able to move by themselves or stand on their feet.

Now Alessia has decided to take those people out of there. But she wants some type of medicine that can give energy to those innocent boys and girls who are stuck over in that house so they can stand on their feet and be able to run from there.

According to her plan, she went to the medical shop and buy some bottles of syrup. After then she went to that house and tried to get into the room where those girls and boys were. One after another she made everyone drink the medicine so everyone could stand on their feet and run out of there, when it was the turn of Venessa to have the medicine, it was finished. Alessia got worried, but she promised her friend that she will come back. Other than Venessa she took everyone out of there safely.

First, she took them to the hospital for initial treatments then she asked her agency to call their families so they can get back home. But she was still worried about Venessa, that when those crooks will get to know about the situation then what will they gonna do with Venessa? So many questions were going into Alessia’s mind, Will they gonna take Venessa somewhere else? Will they hurt her? Or will they gonna kill her? She was so tense but then she cools down and once more she planned to save Venessa.

After two days she went to that old house but it was empty. She can’t hear a single voice right over there. Then she thought to herself that she was right that they will take Venessa anywhere else. That’s why she was already prepared for that. Alessia had previously put a tracker on Venessa’s collar. So, she could find her easily if she had gone. Then, when she reached the destination where the tracker was tracked. She found it near a road. Where two more ways were going on from that road. This means that the kidnappers do know that someone is tracking them. So that’s why they throw the tracker off. But there was one more problem standing in front of Alessia, she couldn’t take help from her agency because in front of the world Venessa had died. And all other kidnapping cases were closed. And near that tracker, she found a pen drive.

When Alessia opened the pen drive she found some of the folders were empty. She waits for some minutes and remembers that in the agency they were told that “if you can’t see anything doesn’t mean that there is nothing”. Then she reminds herself of all of the tricks related to computers pen drives and CDs. Her mind started playing trickly and then she types some codes and suddenly so many files started to appear on the screen. One by another when she started opening the files, she heard some audio in which a man was saying her to be careful and safe. And the audio was repeated many times, Don’t try to be clever, we do have the evidence”. Then all of a sudden, audio started in which a girl was shouting and crying for help. And Alessia recognized that voice because it was of Venessa.

(The Last Chance)

It took Alessia at least Half of the month to find Venessa and those kidnappers. And when she found that spot she went inside secretly. And tried to find out Venessa as much hurry as she could. Alessia fought a minimum of 4 to 5 people from that gang. And at last, she successes to reach Venessa. Where she found Venessa in very bad condition. She didn’t think for a second and picked Venessa up on her back. After then Alessia took Venessa to a mill. Venessa asked her why they are there. But she didn’t answer. Venessa asked again and again. Then she replied that “I can’t take you home because you died in front of the world”. And then Alessia makes Venessa understand everything while telling her the whole story. Where she told Venessa that she has to leave the country with her parents. Venessa agreed Alessia. And start walking outside the mill but suddenly Venessa fell and Alessia offered her hand to pick her up…………………

Alessia said, What do you think that I was helping you if yes then you are wrong. Because from the day I gave you the locket I was in the seek to take my revenge”. “But what is my fault,” Venessa asked. “I am sure that you wouldn’t remember but some years ago my twin brother was your best friend. And once you gave him a gift but by mistake, he lost it. And just because of that silly gift you mentally disturbed my brother. You told him that he is useless he can’t even handle a gift so what will he gonna do in the future? And you make him believe that he can’t do anything perfectly. In front of the world, my brother had died due to an accident. But in reality, it was a suicide, just because of you” replied Alessia. Which means you are the sister of Derek, Venessa asked. “YES, and you know what your kidnapping and other things were all my plan just to take my revenge. And I think you will be happy while meeting your best friend once again because now it’s your turn to die”. After then Alessia loaded her gun and ………………………………………………….
