Amy Lynn Bradley, was an American who disappeared while traveling on the Royal Caribbean International cruise ship Rhapsody of the Seas in late March 1998, when she was 23 years old.

The cruise was headed to Curaçao in the Caribbean when she went missing. Despite efforts to locate her, she is still missing to this day.

The Beginning

Born in Petersburg, Virginia on May 12, 1974, Amy Lynn Bradley obtained a degree in Physical Education from Longwood University, where she had a basketball scholarship. Amy was also known for her impressive swimming skills.

On March 21st, 1998, Ron and Iva Bradley, along with their adult children Amy and Brad, embarked on the Rhapsody of the Seas in Puerto Rico for a voyage that would take them to Aruba and Curacao in the Netherlands Antilles.

Amy Disappears Without a Trace

Before her disappearance, Amy and her brother Brad stayed up late to dance and drink at a Mardi Gras nightclub party aboard the ship with the band, Blue Orchid. Amy was seen drinking with one of the band members, Alister Douglas. According to Douglas, he left the party around 1:00 a.m.

At around 3:35 a.m., Brad chose to retire for the night and returned to the family's cabin after a few hours. The ship's computerized door lock system registered Brad's return at that time, followed by Amy's arrival five minutes later.

Brad later stated that he and his sister spent some time conversing on the balcony of their suite before he went to bed, while Amy stayed up for a while longer before eventually drifting off to sleep.

Between 5:15 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on March 24, 1998, Amy's father Ron woke up and checked on his children, finding Amy asleep on a lounge chair on their cabin's balcony. Ron later recounted that he could see her legs from the hips down and went back to sleep, as the balcony door was closed.

Later when he woke up again, Amy was no longer there, and her cigarettes and lighter were gone. Ron attempted to find her. After searching the ship's common areas, Ron woke up the rest of the family and informed them of Amy's disappearance at.

As soon as Amy's family realized she was missing, they notified the ship's crew and requested that they prevent the 2,000 passengers from disembarking and make an announcement to aid in her search. However, the purser's office staff informed them that it was too early to make a ship-wide announcement.

Eventually, the crew agreed to issue a message at 7:50 a.m., after most of the passengers had disembarked.

Although it was a possibility, it seemed unlikely that Amy Lynn Bradley had fallen overboard since she was a skilled swimmer and had experience as a lifeguard. Additionally, no evidence suggested that she had fallen or been pushed, and there was no indication of a body in the water.

The Search for Amy Has Been Unfruitful

Since Amy went missing, there have been several tips and reported sightings of her but none has proven helpful in locating her.

One of the recent reports of seeing Amy was in 2005. The Bradleys were sent an email containing a photo of a woman who bore a resemblance to Amy, lying on a bed in her underwear.

The woman "Jas"

The image was discovered by a member of an organization that searches for sex trafficking victims on adult websites, who believed that the woman in the photo could be Amy.

The woman in the photograph was a sex worker in the Caribbean identified as "Jas". Regrettably, this distressing lead like others did not lead to any help in finding Amy.
