Phillip Jackson comes home from a one month business trip. But something is out of place, seriously out of place. He can't find his parents, his wife, housekeeper, nor nurse that was hired several months before he left on his business trip.

Phillip begins a room by room search for his beloved wife and can't find her. He can't seem to find the nurse he hired to care for her, nor his parents. His only hope is to call 9-1-1. Phillip dials the numbers and the operator answers. They ask him what he needs and he said he didn't know because his wife, parents and nurse were all missing. They told him the police would be right out. The police came out and looked around, couldn't find anything in the house. But the old barn that was something else. Detective Kenda asked Phillip when was the las time he saw anyone alive and Phillip said a little over a month ago.

Kenda went out to the old barn and found Phillips wife and parents, but no nurse. Phillip was questioned about his trip when he left and returned. Phillip showed Kenda his stamps on his passport as he had been doing business in Korea. Kenda verified Phillips information and he was no longer classified as a suspect. In the old barn Kenda found articles of clothing that didn't belong to the victims. He also found where the suspect(s) tried to burn down the old wooden barn. There was also evidence of sexual assault on Phillip's wife but not his mother. Phillips father had been beaten to death then decapitated. Phillips mother was drawn, quartered, and butchered alive. Who would commit such a savage crime? Why would they commit a crime this heinous? It would take many long hours for Kenda to learn the truth.

Phillip provided Kenda with a business card for the nurses he hired to look after his parents and wife. Kenda called the number and inquired about the individual that was sent to Phillips house and the employer said she quit three weeks ago. Said her and her sister had to leave town immediately. Kenda hung up the phone and said well my my my.

Kenda had Phillip do an inventory of the house to see what all was missing and Phillip found quite a bit missing. He found $200,000 in bonds missing, $50,000 cash, $45,000 in jewelry and $75,000 in furs gone. He made a detailed list and gave it to Detective Kenda. Kenda found out through the woman's employer her home town and contacted the Flint, MI police department and told them to be on the lookout for the pair. Flint police said they had the younger sister in custody and Kenda said hold her. He then instructed one of his detectives to head to Flint, MI to pick up one of the suspects.

When the detectives from Colorado Springs arrived the lady was very cooperative and told the officers what they wanted to know, the where's why's and what fors. She explained she never felt loved by anyone before and wanted to know what it was like to be loved and wanted. She explained her sister was the master mind behind the whole operation since Phillip would be out of town for more than a month. She convinced her sister whose emotional iq was extremely low to go along with the plan telling her she wouldn't get into trouble. It was true, because the younger sister turned states evidence against her older sister. For her part she received six months in the mental hospital. Her sister was caught trying to visit her, and was tried and convicted of all three brutal slayings. She was given life.
