The Iconic Mechanization of Evil In Society

If Lucifer had a table to sit at it, it would be the the 21st century. Forging beginnings was never his purpose. Acts of chaos his dream. So why did he raise his ugly head again when he was cast down long ago? Behold the virtue of streams of hatred that society gave birth to.

Little devils popping up everywhere are something to pay attention to. The ash grab, people seeking victims. Kidnappers, killers, serial killers, mass violence, suicides. 1 in 25 people to 1 in 100 people are psychopaths depending on which article you read. With a world population of 7.9 billion even at 1% of the population that makes 79 million and much to be concerned about.

Atrocities are countless in number, deaths a perpetual equation of violence. A grip on humanity that leaves the ego struggling to hold. If id had a conscience, would society evolve differently, when we are back to survival of the fittest? When society performs on paranoia, there is no way to go back. The only exemption is the threshold of doing good, but where is it?

People’s paradigms are no longer good and evil, it’s want over need — social greed alongside abuse. While we scroll through pages online and worry about bills every second of the day, someone is getting abused or murdered, and every 40 seconds, a child goes missing.

The laws need to be stricter is an understatement. Or the problem will not go away. Prisons are not rehabilitative, is known. Psychology has proven that once that mark in mind is crossed to cause harm to the living, it’s like a permanent dent and cannot be repaired. A permanent place for violent criminals to go, away from people would be a good idea (snake island maybe?). A gene for violence has been found to identify violent tendencies, genetic testing for early interventions could eliminate the cause.

Maybe…

• Let the people in jails for minor crimes out before they become worse than when they went in and let the treacherous begin their descent.
• Instead of spending money teaching youth that hormonal angst is a mental health issue, incorporate self-esteem building.
• For those already on the path to violence, return programs like Scared Straight into the schools. This was an authentic intervention where real “tough ass” students destined for crime or life behind bars were sent to spend an afternoon in a prison, left alone with the camera rolling where literally anything could happen. To give them an idea of what real prison life was like and a chance for them to turn their life around. It worked, only 1 out of 10 returned to a life of crime. • Pluck out the youth struggling with criminal behavior, and put them in therapeutic boarding schools that have rehabilitative programs that work and away from the innocent so that they can’t infect them with ideas of assault. Then continue heightened interventions after programs.
• Since poverty is a controlling factor in crime, society should take measures to control for that. Maybe start with increasing social assistance dollars to an amount where people can actually afford to pay rent, which it doesn't currently anywhere. Assistance amounts are based on a budget of 20 years ago. In that way people might not need to rob their neighbour.
• In the meantime, teach women how to arm themselves. Provide more free self-defense classes and safety information.
• Maybe throw a little prayer in the classrooms, have teachers teach values, or is that too much outside their curriculum. If religion offends, then why not at least teach some basics like the Ten Commandments and what the Seven Deadly Sins are as basics. If the word sin offends thee then how about, The Seven Deadly Currents of Evil. Seriously read them, raise that awareness. Effects of religion and crime reduction study and this study.
• We are all part of society. We are raising both victims and villains. This has to change. Social psychologists, how about some practical preventative applications - get your books out there to the public.

All these may seem like opinions to consider, but they are much more than that. They are actual points in cultural decline that have already been made. Society changed social structures gradually to appease changes that someone once upon a time deemed advancing society in their brilliant mind.

Fill a container with a few mice and watch the wonder of a colony develop. Once it becomes overpopulated, watch deviance begin until they attack one another (social psychology) — the same for the human race. We are not in a lab, not an experiment, and we have only one thing in common with a mouse, we have one chance here in life. STUDY link.

People don’t know how to recognize hatred anymore. It’s become an exact science over decades because we watched it grow. We allowed it to. Attack on the spiritual is tantamount to its expression of it. So why would someone care to cast the blame of a moral dilemma that belongs to the whole world on one social structure such as spirituality or religion? Plus, one that for centuries has earned the reputation for fighting evil in society. Or on any social structure for that matter, schools, laws? There is a dynamic occurring here and social scientists need to find it.

Any attack against innocence is an attack against humanity.

The attack on humanity goes farther than its roots. It comes from before time, and this is no fairy tale. Hatred begets hatred. We are teaching our young women to hate men and fear normalcy, as men earn hatred like an iconic twinge from the 15 minutes of fame they will gain after committing crimes.

Did you know, population numbers aside, that the phenomenon of serial killers blew up once national television started including it in the news. Before then, it happened but much more rarely. Suicides were kept out of obituary announcements for a hundred years simply so they wouldn’t catch on and not be understood as a norm. Put that dilemma on social media, in the news, and in a year, the numbers triple and even younger ages. That is not raising awareness. We are to blame for ignoring what we know not to do. But sensationalism, hey, it makes money, it builds dreams. Deal with these things on a personal level of support. That’s direct, not ignoring the problem. STUDY link + STUDY link.

It was once believed, and not that long ago, that having girls participate in sports would teach them to think like men, be competitive, and think equally in the board room later in life. Instead, subsequent generations of girls became meaner. Was that the point? Considering men are the ones most responsible for the heinous crimes going on in the world, is that what we want? I don’t hate men, in fact, the opposite, and in no way is this a criticism of gender, the point refers to violent criminals where men far outnumber women and their victims are consistently women and children. There is a crux of understanding here, and I will not think it out for anyone. STUDY link + STUDY link.

How about recognizing the individual and nurturing their interests without imposing ideas. No competition = no animosity = no hatred, is a start.

When the mechanization of mind allows even the slightest reason to accept evil’s nuance, we are slipping. The fall is not that far from here.
