Recently Ted Bundy has gotten some attention thanks to a Netflix documentary, and an upcoming movie staring Zach Efron as Bundy. Women have been tweeting about how hot they think Ted Bundy was. It has gotten so bad that Netflix and Cosmopolitan made a post reminding women what this guy was accused of. Here is a reminder of who was and what he did.

Ted was born on November 24, 1946 to an unwed single mother. His father's identity was not known, but there were a few men they thought it could be. He was raised by his grandparents who told everyone including Ted that they were his parents, and that his real mother was his older sister. He later found out the truth, but no one really knows how he found out. Bundy said he was really close to his grandpa, but another family said that Bundy's grandpa was a bigot who hated blacks, Italians, Catholics, and Jews. He was also accused of beating his wife and dog. At a young age Bundy would display disturbing behavior. His aunt once said she woke up surrounded by knives with Bundy looking at her smiling. Bundy and his mother moved in 1950, then she remarried in 1951.

After the move Bundy had admitted to digging through people's trash, hoping to find naked pictures of woman. He also admitted to being into the true crime documentaries, detective magazines, and crime novels. During his teen years he said he chose to be alone, but his classmates said that he was well known and well liked. In other interviews he made things seem a lot better than they were. Some reports say he was bullied before high school. During high school he was arrested twice for suspicions of burglary and car theft. The charges were later expunged from his record.

Bundy graduated college with a degree in psychology. While in law school he had a serious girlfriend, but he eventually broke it off by not returning her calls and letters. While this was going on he had been skipping classes. He eventually just stopped going and women in his school started disappearing. At the time the murders started happening, Bundy was an assistant to the director of the Seattle Crime Prevention Advisory Commission.

Bundy had admitted that he attempted to kidnap someone in 1969 but didn't kill until 1971. He later back tracked and said he killed two women in 1969. It is said that during this time he was with his serious girlfriend. A homicide detective believes that Bundy starting killing as a teenager. The earliest documented homicide he was involved was in 1974. Bundy bragged that he mastered being able to leave as little proof as possible. His crimes happened before the era of DNA testing.

January 4, 1974 he entered the apartment of Karen Sparks and bludgeoned her with a metal rod. He then sexually assaulted her with a different rod causing internal damages. Karen remained in a coma for ten days. She survived but with mental and physical issues. I think that's the only one who survived.

Between 1974 and 1978 Bundy killed at least 30 people that we know of but the kill number could be around 100. He also raped and kidnapped people but there's no number to the people he just kidnapped and raped. His crimes happened in Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Florida, Washington, and Oregon. He was caught in 1975 but escaped jail to kill again. He had three trials and three times he was sentenced to death. After the third trial he stood up in court and shouted, telling the jury they were wrong. During the last trial he got married, and after the trial his wife gave birth to a child. On January 24, 1989 after appeals fell through or got denied, Bundy was executed.

I understand that women like the bad boy who they can change but Bundy was in jail and escaped just to do the same thing again. What he did was so bad they decided to sentence him to death. So think about how vile he is before you call him hot.
