From the outside. --- Three days later, Detective Ava Collins stared at the crime scene photos spread across her desk in the Chicago Police Department. Nothing made sense. No forced entry. No fingerprints. No missing property. Just a dead man in a locked apartment. Officer Ben Carter leaned against the desk, sipping coffee. “So… what are we thinking?
