Cross Kill - Review
CROSS KILL Long Live Soneji! With the bad guys seemingly dead, you think you can relax. You think your home is safe. The veteran crime writer is back with his trusty partner Alex Cross; the pathetic fallacy at the very beginning of the book gives a foreboding sense of something bad about to happen. We aren’t wrong. That late winter storm in Washington DC, with Patterson, expect a tragedy.

Pouria NazemiPublished 5 years ago in CriminalBook Review: The Robert Langdon Series
They’re bestsellers for a reason I’ve finally finished the Robert Langdon series. It took me a couple of years, but I made it. The Robert Langdon series is written by Dan Brown and consists of five novels so far, and hopefully there are more in the future. It’s a very popular series, starting with Angels & Demons in 2000, and Origin in 2017. This series has gained a lot of fans also due to popular movies, most notably The Da Vinci Code, as well as Angels & Demons, and Inferno.
Review of John Stith's 'Pushback'
I usually review science fiction novels here. But when I came across Pushback, an adrenaline pumping mystery novel by John Stith, who wrote Red Shift Rendezvous, one of my all-time favorite science fiction novels, hey, how could I resist? Besides, the who dunnit of mystery and detective fiction is a close cousin of the what dunnit of science fiction.
Paul LevinsonPublished 5 years ago in Criminal10 Intriguing Books About Dangerous Cults
How many times have you heard people say "don't drink the Kool-Aid" when you were getting a little overzealous about something? This, perhaps, somewhat insensitive phrase refers to the Jonestown Massacre when cult leader Jim Jones forced over 900 people to commit suicide by drinking a grape-flavored drink laced with cyanide.
Trish GilmorePublished 5 years ago in Criminal10 Awesome Books About the Mafia
When it comes to organized crime, no one does it quite like the mafia. They aren't your typical street gangsters throwing up signs and making fools of themselves. They don't flag up or sell drugs on a street corner. They do things with style.

A serial killer is the real-life version of the boogeyman. They are murderous, they are evil, they are monsters that live inside human bodies, and they can be anyone in your neighborhood—even the couple who lives next door.

Nicola P. YoungPublished 5 years ago in CriminalThe Best 10 Books About Famous Serial Killers
Serial killers are a very uniquely warped, sick type of criminal—and that's exactly what makes them so fascinating. In the world of true crime, their strange crimes and bizarre way of thinking generated an entire genre of books that captivate readers and remind us of how horrible humanity can be.
