Jamar sat at the kitchen table drinking some fresh brewed coffee while waiting for Shawnda, his co-worker to come and pick him up. He heard the horn blow. He took the last sip of coffee, grabbed his suit jacket and headed for the door. After he got in, Shawnda sped off. "This case has a lot of mystery and unanswered questions we have to confront before we can even try to solve it," Shawnda said.

"It might help if we could get some local help, however we can not share all the information with them until we know whom to trust and a lot of it is out of their jurisidiction, they probably would not be much help on the international level anyway," replied Jamar

"Who knows some of the local guys might want to step up their game and join the task force to get a little experience on the federal level," Shawnda said.

"I think we could handle it without them. Why stir up idealic thoughts with them? After they get the experience on the federal level, you actually think they would want to go back to their local level, they sure can not stick around after the case gets solved," replied Jamar.

Rahiim was sitting around the table with some of the heads of his organization. "Everything seems to be going smooth in this town. These Floridians clubs and businesses like money spent with them."

"You don't think that some of the young men are over doing it and might get noticed spining money like that? It is a lot of clubs for older patrons too because a lot of retirees lives in Florida too," Zion said.

"Zion, you have a point, however I need your brains to keep the young members balanced and moving. Nobody has your logistic skills and know Florida better than you. If you and some of the senior members want to step out and spend some money it is alright. Our little gambling ring is bringing in more than we antisipated, we already expanded in Georgia and Tenesse. These younger members just seems like big ballers from the north, these southern women are attracted to that," Rahiim replied.

"Chanel has made her way to one of the main guys, his name is Crespo. He always have a bankroll and pays for everything in cash so it would be hard to trace." Shawnda and Jamar kept talking until they reached headquarters. After the work day, Shawnda dropped Jamar off and headed home. When Shawnda arrived home and parked, she noticed a suspicious package wrapped in brown paper. It did not have a return address, just her name on it and no postage, so she knew it was personally delivered. She called Jamar. "Hello Jamar, it is a package on my front steps, it was not delivered by the post office that's for sure."

"Look around to see if you could see anyone," Jamar said. "Just go in the house in case you are being watched. I will call the Commander and take it from there, do not touch it." Shawnda went into her home and soon got a call from the Commander. "Shawnda, this is Commander Nelson. I am sending someone from the bomb squad to pick up the package. You be careful and Jamar is on his way."

Jamar arrives at Shawnda's. They wait to hear back from the Commander after the bomb squad picked up the suspicious package. After about an hour, the Commander called and told both of them to come to his office.

"That's odd, he just said come to his office, never said anything about the package," Shawnda said. Jamar drove them to headquarters and they reported straight to Commander Nelson's office. When they entered the Commander stared at them without saying a word. They looked at each other in confusion, however they did not speak either. The intense silence was thick in the room.

"Is there something either one of you want to tell me?" Commander Nelson said. Jamar and Shawnda sat there still confused. The Commander picked up the phone and said "Bring it to my office." One of the Forensic team member bought the package that was wrapped in brown paper. Still confuse, however knowing it was not a bomb was a relief. Shawnda and Jamar still waiting on answers sat quiet in the Commander's office. Commander Nelson slowly stood up and looked at them both. "I am going to ask one more time...," Shawnda's phone rung before he could finish. She answered the phone, said a few words and a surprise look of emotion showed on her face. She looked at the Commander then passed her phone to him.

"This should answer your question it is Chanel."

"Hello Chanel..." He stayed on the phone several mintues with a few un huhs, yes, and finally okay. He gave Shawnda back her phone and picked up his phone. The same guy from the Forensic team came back. "Get this package to the Federal Treasury department." The Commander looked at Jamar and Shawnda. "I had to ask, not that I thought you were on the take, however when four hundred thousand dollars and a list of businesses lands on your front steps Shawnda it looks suspicious," Commmander said. "Chanel has been collecting the money from businesses and marking them so we can trace where the money is coming from." Commander Nelson said they could leave now. They both got up and walked out the office.

"I met Chanel when she was in college. She had style and was fearless so I recruited her," she said to Jamar as they were walking to the squad room.
