Arvind then visits a psychiatrist and asks for his help in profiling the killer. He finds out that the killer is suffering from a condition called dissociative identity disorder (DID), which makes him switch between multiple personalities. The psychiatrist tells Arvind that the killer is likely to have experienced a traumatic event in his childhood that triggered the disorder.

As Arvind gets closer to the killer's identity, he becomes the killer's next target. With the help of the police, Arvind sets a trap to catch the killer. In the final showdown, Arvind confronts the killer and reveals his true identity.

It turns out that the killer is none other than Christopher (Saravanan), a mild-mannered school teacher who had been abused by his stepfather in his childhood. Christopher's mother had committed suicide, and he had taken revenge on his stepfather by killing him. However, he had developed DID due to the trauma and had been unable to control his violent alter ego.
