Onision. For anyone who hasn't had the experience of coming across this over the top YouTuber's channel, the word sounds like an anime character. For those fairly familiar with Youtube, it conjures the image of a 34 year old man who yells on camera a lot and who got big in the early YouTube days because he was featured on Tosh.o in 2010. Those of us who've delved deep into the rabbit holes of the popular site however have learned a much darker narrative.

Beginning in October of 2019, YouTube saw a new live stream series trending, hosted by Chris Hansen. Many viewers already knew of the famous investigative journalist from his show To Catch A Predator, where he worked with local law enforcement and young looking college theatre students performing sting operations to catch child predators online. For any not familiar with the show, I recommend you go check it out on YouTube, they have many episodes available to see the process of the set up, the sting, and booking the perpetrators later. When I saw him trending on the home page, initially I had thought he was moving his show to YouTube, to gain a larger audience and also help spread awareness of these predators on their primary hunting grounds: the internet. I, and the thousands of others who regularly watch the live broadcasts, were quickly drawn into personal accounts of grooming, abuse, manipulation, threats, defeminization, strange sexual behavior, and a near total detachment from reality. As I watched more and more live streams, and followed every one by watching suggested videos about more of Jackson's disturbing and perverse actions in the past, the more it became clear he is a multi-faceted psycho. Chris Hansen literally refers to him as the "Psycho Brat out in Washington" in his more recent streams.

The first stream available on his channel featured Blaire White, another YouTube streamer who in the past year started to investigate sexual predators. She spoke about how he had garnered her attention when she heard of allegations of Jackson and his partner moving a 16 year old into their home, for the purpose of grooming her into becoming an additional sexual partner in their relationship. Later we would learn this girl's name was Sarah, and Jackson and Avaroe's questionable behavior went much further than initially thought. During the stream with Blaire White, she and Chris Hansen also discussed a couple other YouTubers who have displayed predatory and how the one that had lost their channel only lost it after a criminal conviction, NOT in the face of the cold hard evidence that had been steadily coming out for many months previous to the arrest. In the 6 months or so since Chris Hansen started these streams, YouTube and it's CEO Susan Wojcicki have repeatedly declined going on the show to discuss any aspect of this case. They won't speak about either Jackson or Avaroe specifically, they won't speak on any of the predatory activities that have repeatedly come up on YouTube, simply evolving every time it's quashed by new policies or algorithm changes. Many times during the series guests were asked if they felt YouTube had a responsibility to deplatform content creators to reduce or end their influence, and everyone has said a resounding Yes.

As of today there have been 19 of these streamed interviews, and Mr Hansen has not been able to escape some drama on his end either. Jackson makes frequent response videos, full of yelling and crying and extreme behavior, often dragging up Chris Hansen’s own few and infrequent run ins with the law, incidents that have zero bearing on this dark and unusual case. Vincent Nicotra, who helped Hansen produce and run the livestreams in the beginning, would later turn on Chris, with behavior behind the scenes that damaged both of their reputations, however Hansen has recovered his since.

I will continue to cover this story as there are more streams, and a plethora of exposing videos covering everything from Jackson's odd behavior and habits in high school in Washington state, to his rocky military career, the religion he tried to start, and multiple allegations of Jackson and his partner grooming teenagers online and possible child pornography trafficking. I will cover every aspect I possibly can to take the literal days worth of footage, and condense it into more specific detail oriented blog posts.

Do you know of any other YouTubers that have creepy predatory behavior? If so please let me know in the comments, I'll see what I can find out about them and try to bring clarity to what they may or may not have done.
