Naked Intruder kills Pets

Police received a burglary call on Thursday afternoon from the 1000 block of Casiano Road, said Officer Mike Lopez, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.

It was a panicked Call from Mat Sabz, a Bel-Air, California resident complaining about a naked Intruder in his home.

As per the KABC report, Mat was alerted by his wife who saw the man in their swimming pool. She saw this in security cameras while she was away from home with the kids and she called Mat who was changing his clothes in the upstairs bedroom.

When Mat went to enquire, he found the man, who has put on himself, at the stairs.

“Hey! Who are you? What are you doing here? I'm gonna call the police right now,"

Mat yelled at the intruder from the top of the stairs, He didn't even move, He looked at me and said,

‘This is my house,’ and he started coming up the stairs"

To avoid any violent confrontation, Mat retreated to his upstairs bedroom and jumped from the second-floor window then ran back to his car where he called the Police for help.

"I said 'okay I have to escape, I don't have anything to fight this guy," Mat said. "So, I go to the balcony, I get up on the balcony, I climb off and fortunately my car was in the driveway and I jump on top of car barefoot."

All this while Monica, wife of Mat kept yelling at the Camera speakers to threaten him and leave the house while she herself was scared for Mat's life.

"I was so frightened and scared that this guy is going to be doing something to my husband,"

They waited for Private security and Police to arrive and handle the situation. He was eventually stopped by private neighborhood security, The Intruder stayed in the Home for more than 45 minutes doing whatever he can before he was taken into custody.

The burglar was identified as 34-year-old Paul Kiyan by the Los Angeles Police Department, who was found walking naked in the pool of the family on Thursday afternoon around 2 P.M.

Later both the kids of the Household found their two pet parakeets birds dead on the ground, it was seen in the video that the intruder Paul Kiyan squeezed the birds in their cage and stomped on both of them as they kept screaming.

"He went and opened the cage like a serial killer look, smile," Mat said. "(He) opened the cage and (was) squeezing them, dropping them, and stomping on both of them as they are screaming for their lives, these birds."

"The other bird knew what was going on," Sabz said. "You can hear the bird screaming and he did the same thing with the second bird. And that kind of changed everything when we saw that he killed these two defenseless animals."

To spread awareness and alert other homeowners for a similar situation, the couple said:

"It doesn't matter where you live, it doesn't matter if your community hasn't had crime for years, it doesn't matter if you don't see transients in your streets. They could get in and they got in,"

The couple also hoped for others to learn from their experience and keep their doors locked as the burglar entered the house after taking the garage opener from the unlocked car.

In the end, the family is shaken and currently not living in their home, and is thankful that no one was hurt.
