INTRODUCTION

Hey guys, this is the author blogger and this is my very first book. I will be posting two chapters every week so stay tuned. Anyway, without further delay HAPPY READING!!!!!!

CHAPTER ONE

As the sun slowly hid behind the tall structures around the streets, Jason glanced around searching the streets from the outdoor cafe. The streets were thronging with people hoping to hit their homes before dawn. He realized that it was this horde that made it the perfect meeting place. He lifted his tea cup to his lips for a sip and noticed someone watching him from a distance. It was the blonde he was supposed to be meet. From this distance she looked thin, pale and like someone who always took their time with things. As soon as they locked eyes, she started moving towards him. She entered the cafe and passed his table, on the way sliding a brown envelope onto his table. He pocketed it immediately, paid the bill and walked out coolly.

On reaching his apartment, Jason shut the door behind him and glanced around the room and made sure everything was as it is. When he was satisfied he sat down on his favorite couch and opened the flap of the envelope. Just then his cellphone beeped, sighing he looked at it. It was a message from his colleague and dear friend, John Samerio.

“Jason, is the package secured?”

He smiled slightly and replied, “Yes”.

“What do you think? Are you ready for it?”

He walked towards his bookshelf and picked up the eleventh book on the fourth row. Behind the place where the book initially sat, was a digital screen with a number pad on it. He put in a code and waited. With a creaking noise the shelf slid towards the left, indicating it hasn't been used for a rather long time. It opened up to reveal his priceless collection of weapons. He smiled once again and typed, “I was born ready for this, remember?”

Later when he had bade farewell to John he examined the contents of the envelope. He found a ticket to Switzerland along with some currency and a photo. The picture contained the name and other details regarding the target, on the back. As he examined the photograph he was meet by the fiercely determined eyes of a brown haired woman. He felt something he hadn’t felt in all these years. He knew as a professional he wasn’t supposed to develop such feelings especially for his target. He looked at the back side of the photograph to prevent any other distractions to his mind and concentrated on the details. He found that her name was Jane Reeves of age 26 and found that she was an enemy spy who just like him had been working for Apare. It was a secret organization led by Shoun Herfiterr a leader by blood and Jason’s mentor, that was set up to fight a criminal group named, Exousia. Her last sighting was in Switzerland and his job was to eliminate her. Still thinking about the photo he felt a slight remorse on accepting the mission. But, he sighed, picked up his pre-packed suitcase, pocketed his favorite rifle and headed for the door.
