Ghislaine Maxwell

I want to post about Ghislaine because I think there should be just as much attention on her as there is on Jeffrey Epstein. I already did a dive in Jeffrey so this was on of the next logical post.

So who is Ghislaine? She is a British socialite whose dad was an important figure in England. Her father was a con man and a fraud who died under suspicious circumstances. Ghislaine was involved with Jeffrey who was involved in a Ponzi scheme at some point in his career. It was never confirmed whether or not they were in a relationship or if she was just his partner in literal crime.

Ghislaine and Jeffrey created a Pyramid scheme with girls who were only supposed to do massages on Jeffrey. Of course when the girls would come to give the massages Jeffrey and Ghislaine would molest them and touch them inappropriately. She was charged by the US federal government with the crimes of enticement of minors and sex trafficking of underage girls in 2020. The US Virgin Islands Department of Justice announced in July 2020 that Ghislaine was also under investigation in the Caribbean territory. 8 lawsuits were brought against Ghislaine and some included Jeffrey. She was also arrested in July 2020. There are reports that in the Jeffrey case there was a possible plea agreement that would pretty much give Jeffrey, Ghislaine, and the other people involved.

We were giving more attention to Jeffrey than we were Ghislaine. Ghislaine was recruiting the girls for Jeffrey. She was more extraverted than he was. It is likely that if it wasn't for her there would be no girls. Ghislaine is not what we think about when we think of people who assault women. Women assault and harass people including men. Ghislaine is still in jail and from what I hear they are making it very hard on her jail.

Let's be very clear Ghislaine and Jeffrey are the tip of this iceberg. It is rumored that Prince Andrew was involved with this situation as well. It was also believed that Harvey Weinstein may have done something to at least one of these girls. Bill Clinton and Donald Trump had connections to Jeffrey and Ghislaine. They have denied any communication with Jeffrey in years. Also Prince Andrew was involved and Ghislaine let him be with at least one girl. Prince Andrew denied any involvement. We will probably find out more names in the years to come. There was a whole prostitution ring going on and Jeffrey and Ghislaine were in the center.

It will be interesting to see what will happened to Ghislaine. We shall see if she will meet the same fate as Jeffrey. Cases like this bring to light the idea of money, power and assault. People with money and power will always get away with everything. They live a life that will always be well privilege.

I am not going to take this sitting down anymore. I'm using this blog to bring attention to these types of cases. I will of course write about other stuff but I want to bring attention to cases like this.
