Yawquisha prepared a sizzle reel. It consisted of all the media coverage of Kim’s cases she solved. It went back to before the QR Murders. She showcased police officer Kimberle Lorry on the street and addressed the media.

Then, she presented Sergeant Kim Jergensen talking to neighbors and reassuring crowds.

Finally, she explored Lieutenant Kim Jergensen as the detective. Then the video exploded with global coverage of the murders and all of Kim’s media appearances.

She added chirons, music, and even a narrator. The task asked for no burden on Yawquisha’s shoulders. She relished at the idea of airing this on the Web. Excitement rose up in her throat and she burst out laughing with her creation. The amount of power which she wielded with three million subscribers, she felt a surge of glee mixed with a slight sadness that she wouldn’t be able to contain.

The sadness came in waves at the events that had transpired over the last few months. In her mind, she could see the outcome of the entire reel. In the moments she fashioned the videos together like a patchwork, she brought every fiber of her being.

She kept moving. The mania of making had to be curbed by the depression of editing. Her hands glided over the keys. Her abilities as someone who could write, shoot, and edit permitted her the concept of knowledge. She knew what she was doing.

By reading the analytics to her show. She knew what bumpers and teasers she could use to draw in millions and make even more millions in the process.

The coveted 18-34 year old demographic sat squarely in her crosshairs. To play target practice with her audience was not her aim. She studied each frame with the ferocity of a rifle sniper in the desert. She honed in on the reports and the discussions Kimberle participated in during her years as a detective.

It hurt her soul to have to dive for the clips that regarded her murder trials. She noted how the tone of the broadcasters changed with every sentence about Kim’s confinement. She learned nonetheless. What was there to see she picked up and took it as nuggets of truth. Mostly. Some news sources actually got names and dates wrong. Some were even subjective. Well, most were. They leaned mostly to the left but others were complete rightists.

Yawquisha searched the virtual realm to find even more stories that Kim had been a subject of in these few pieces of footage. Like an alchemist from the Middle Ages, she worked and worked to show herself approved of her own design. With every digital splice and virtual cut, she made the notion of being ever closer to perfection. She was a beacon of productiveness and prided herself with the fact she knew what to do.

In the way she imbued life into the package, it took her strength and energy to direct all of her power into this project. She rested. A few sips of water and an electrolyte solution prompted her to continue throughout her journey.

As Kimberle holed up in the hotel, Yawquisha thought of ways to distribute this material to the universe. How? She would ensure that her friends, family, and followers knew of course. But also the five percent who knew about what was going on and would share with millions.

This footage would change the trajectory of the Kim/Yawquisha team. She knew she would have to upload the video within the next hour to trigger the clicks and taps she needed just to keep on the lights. That went well with her.
