Yes I would like to address the crew members involved with hiring and creating new roles for seeking individuals. First off I would like to acknowledge the efforts being put forth to expand the normalcy of the work environment. The new pathways of hybrid, remote, traveling, and interstate opportunities is a refreshing new trend if I must admit. Now I do have a few concerns with the success rate for someone like myself who desires to work. Personally the last few years have been times of learning and coming to terms with true intentions of others and the primitive behaviors people expose through competitive aims for status and position within companies.

With that being said, I enter these search engines daily showcasing my exemplary skill sets in every test asked to take, sitting through hours of extra lectures to obtain certifications, paying for subscriptions and watching funds diminish. This in turn increases the emergent alarms to locate employment with haste. I a woman who presents herself with the offer of strong work ethics, high emotional intelligence, a proven track record of strong competence in cultural diversities. Someone who is willing to go above and beyond, supportive, independent, possesses high standard leadership qualities, places value and ethics to the term servitude and religiously practices self-care. A person who doesn't mind the taking overtime, traveling long distances cross state lines to support a project. In all the while placing self on display to be judged, misjudged, categorized, tallied, labeled, looked over due to ethnic name or identity

When an individual like this, is open to new opportunities and only attempting to support their livelihood, families, and also stimulate the workforce and economy. Not eligible for grants or unemployment because of the workforce cuts. To sit at a computer and watch a phone day in and day out. Becoming all the more appalled and disheartened by responses from companies and recruiters that look like this:

Is there ever a response received from any recruiting department? Do they provide any contact information to follow-up on the position? Which I am sure I was taught growing up was a wise thing to do when applying for work. I will not leave out the recruiters that forget scheduled interviews, or rudely dismiss the preparedness of the job seeker to extend the 15 mins. allotted to follow through with a scheduled interview. Then we sit, stalk hiring websites obsessively, overthink, rewrite resumes, practice hundreds of interview questions and answers, certifications pile up, skills tests become redundant, yet we "submit resume" again.

Indeed the search sites showcase thousands of opened positions. So the 20, 30 even 50 a day applications seem miniscule to the suggested demand for staffing needs. Yet the days continue to roll by, the phone refuses to ring, the constant rejection emails flood in.... How can this be? Am I not as talented or skilled as I thought? How does one continue to be motivated in gainful employment opportunities, being showcased throughout media platforms? While witnessing others who sit around and constructing short clips of laughs and insights on crafts, false news, propaganda, trolls or those who can lip sing the heck out of Mariah Carey and make millions.... almost effortlessly. Not hating on the master planners and move makers.. speaking only from todays dilemmas.

PS. All I really want to do is make some money to travel, share with my kids and develop my own youth program. So the future ones do not enter blindly and receive valued insight to excel and land those roles they desire to have. Not what's left.
