The Feminine Yearns to Be Fully Seen and Deeply Loved

And not looked at or used

Our yearning is — at the deepest, most primordial level —for God

When a woman reclaims “her feminine”, she is being brought home to her Feminine Heart and original Innocence. She remembers her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and her identity is as a Cherished Daughter of Father-God. She comes home to her desire for union: a monogamous, sacred, complimentary, devotional, deeply blissful, lifelong (and also, eternal) covenant with her beloved (who is a reflection of Her Beloved who is God.) She receives the deepest truth of her Feminine Heart: That she is made to be Seen and Loved, body and soul — by God, and by a man of whom she is “flesh of his flesh” — as His one and Only.

The Feminine yearning to be seen and deeply loved is the open, aching, living, spiritual and cosmic heart at the core of every woman: where she no longer needs to wield her s*x as magic, because in Union with Him, she births co-creations as the fruit of being seen and deeply loved; where she can stop self-sourcing, because in Union with Him, she is “like a tree planted near running water, whose leaves never fade and which yields fruit in season.”

Cherished within the cosmic Love of God, the Feminine does not “need a safe space” for He can hold her in all her expressions within His powerful frame. He is for her the “Vine” she clings to, so that she can “be” her essence. She is the branches, thriving in His “seen-ness” of her; she is nourished by His deep Love that is poured into her. She is the rose; He tends her so that she flourishes.

“You have made us for yourself, [God], and our hearts are restless until they rest in You,” St. Augustine's most often quoted phrase, captures what echos deep within the human heart: a primordial desire for the creation to be both filled and fulfilled by the Creator.

Such is the eternal mystery and longing of the human soul— man or woman; the ‘collective feminine’ of this universe— for the Masculine: the source and Logos, God, Father, King… mirrored in the union of the feminine and the masculine.

An inquiry into your own Feminine Yearning for the Masculine

Do I yearn for felt-sense of being held, led and provided for? Is it an ache for God?

Does the truthful, deepest part of me desire to be framed by the structure of the Masculine: God is wisdom, the adjustment of worthy men, because I deeply am created to trust the Masculine heart?

How is my yearning for God first MATCHED by my yearning for a man who can lead me and have me?

How do I know in my Feminine Heart that I desire to be Seen (not looked at) and deeply Loved (not used)?

How can I feel and own my feminine yearning as my “strength”?

In what ways do I open myself up to “branch out” from God as the masculine source and “vine” who holds, provides structure and cultivates me?

What frightens me about the depth of my Feminine Heart? What am I pretending I do not know about my own yearning?

What are the ways that I can be fruitful in my yearning, as a single woman desiring a sacred relationship union or as a married/committed woman?

We all have a yearning to be LOVED treasured and held in the highest regard; constantly hoping that no one should EXPLOIT our heart and body, but rather EXALT who we really are -- male or female -- for our deepest soul yearning to be SEEN and LOVED. Let us not let culture compartmentalize love from s*x, or imprison us out of our totality of body, fertility, and soul.

The divine feminine is here to teach us that love is fierce, love is wild, love is untamable and love is devoted to the highest truth.
