POWER OF FAITH
It was a usual Sunday morning. Apart from the fact that it was the longest day of the year. Everyone in the ancient town of Kanoa'i was excited about the evening ceremony. The little streets of the settlement were filled with joyful people, preparing for the big summer event. Image generated by using Gencraft The Kalani family had a tradition for this special night. Every year when their father got home from work, after lunch they went out to the shore of the nearby lake and spent the whole afternoon there. When the time finally came and the sun started to set, the parents gathered the kids and the Kalanis said grace together for the long, productive day, asking their gods for further fortune and wealth. "Mom, do you know what day it is?" - Makani asked his mother. "No, unfortunately I have no idea. Can you remind me what special occasion is today?" - his mother wondered with a slight sarcasm in her voice. "It's summer solstice, mom!" - shouted Nalu - "When are we going to the shore to watch the sunset?" "Soon, but first we have breakfast, okay?" - she answered with barely noticeable tears in her eyes. Nalu was blind. She lost her sight when she was five. Ever since it was a real emotional torture for her mother to see her only daughter disabled. A few years ago a cruel epidemic swept through the little town, causing many deaths and taking others' health. The family got through the hard times, however it cost Nalu's ability to see and a lot of desperate and sleepless nights. After that the parents tried their best to find a doctor and cure their daughter, but they couldn't do much. "Alright, let's eat, then we can pack up and go" - their father broke the silent moment while walking into the kitchen. The Kalanis ate up quickly all the food from the table. They were hungry, because they weren't the wealthiest people in the town. In spite of that they never missed to pray before a meal or at the beginning and end of the day. They were simply grateful to be alive and healthy. The day passed quickly and in no time the family was back together again. They wrapped up their dinner and got going. The way to the lake was quite a long trip, especially for the kids, but it only took half an hour to get to the destination. And after a quick dinner the awaited time finally came. The sun was setting, getting lower and lower on the horizon, reflecting in the water. The lake served as a huge mirror with the growing orange ball in it. The Kalanis were about to sit down, when their mother suddenly exclaimed. "Where is Nalu??!!" "I don't know, she was eating dinner with us just a few minutes ago..." - Makani answered. They immediately started to look for the little girl, but there was nothing to worry about, because after some seconds she appeared again in front of the family. Her mother ran to her and checked if she got hurt. However Nalu was completely fine. "How many times have I told you to stay with us? Nature is wild!" But the girl wasn't listening to any of her mother's words. She seemed to be mesmerized. "Look mama, it's beautiful!" - she said with sparkling eyes. Her mother turned around, but as soon as she realized what her daughter just said, she looked back right away and stared at her with a shocked expression on her face. "Don't cry, Mom, there's no reason to cry..." "I'm not crying" - her mother whispered while her tears were flowing. - "These are tears of joy" "Mom, I can see you!" - said the girl with a little confusion in her voice. "Yes" - her mother nodded her head. At this point Nalu couldn't hold her tears back either. "I wanted to see this sunset so bad! It was my only wish! My only one wish, Mom!" - she cried. "I know, dear!

For many years, myths circulated about this creature. Some claimed that it came from other worlds.
In the depths of the dense forest, the night sounds fluttered among the branches of ancient trees and crept into every dark corner. Beneath a large tree, adorned with drooping green leaves, lived a mysterious and terrifying creature that awaited its prey mercilessly. This creature, only heard of in mythical tales, was akin to a beast unlike any other. It fed on anyone who approached its tree silently during the night, when travelers and adventurers sought shelter under the starlit skies and the melodies of the wilderness. For years, legends circulated about this creature. Some claimed it came from other worlds, while others suggested it was a creature born under unique circumstances. With each tale, people's confusion and fear of the forest and the Tree of the Beast grew. On one fateful night, a strange incident occurred. A group of adventurers had set up their tents near the Tree of the Beast, preparing to sleep after a long day of exploration. They gathered around a crackling fire, marveling at the spectra of stars shimmering above them. The atmosphere was tranquil and enchanting, but it was the calm before the storm. Suddenly, they heard a strange noise echoing through the dark forest. Before they could comprehend what was happening, darkness began to engulf everything around them. The creature appeared beneath its tree, seated on its own throne amidst the ancient trunks and fallen leaves. Its eyes glowed with invisible fires, its mouth gaping wide open, eagerly awaiting its first victims. The adventurers stood frozen, terrified, unable to move as they faced the beast's ferocity. In an instant, the forest's life turned into a nightmare. The creature moved with unnatural speed, seizing its victims with its enormous jaws and swallowing them mercilessly. Screams of horror filled the night, and there was no place to escape. Anyone who tried to flee found themselves trapped in a killing machine without mercy. With each new victim, the Tree of the Beast grew stronger and more vibrant. It fed on souls and energy, flourishing like never before. The forest bore witness to this tragedy in silence, with no one to hear or see what unfolded under the starlight. Thus, the legend of the creature beneath the Tree of the Beast continued to live on in people's minds. The forest ceased to be a place for adventure and exploration but became a realm of fear and terror, where the hungry creature chased anyone daring enough to approach its tree at night. This word refers to the ability to control oneself and adhere to rules and systems, whether in personal behavior or in academic or professional contexts.Autobiography of a Visionary ArtistI am a creator driven by the intricate dance of light and shadow, a storyteller whose canvas is the world itself. Here Is What Happened When I Quit Drinking Four Years Ago. Top Story - July 2024.
“Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” ― Carl Bard The other day, there was a party here at the school. Everyone was drinking, and I and a few girls were playing pool. The game was taking forever since we were all pretty bad.

Saved by a little penny . Content Warning.
I was seated quietly at the steps of the college library, the weight of the world seemingly balanced on my shoulders. It was a balmy evening, with the sun dipping below the horizon, leaving a golden hue over the ancient stone buildings of the campus. The laughter of my fellow students, the clanking of cutlery from the College's G-gate, and the faint hum of distant conversations almost added salt on the wound. For me each sound served as a reminder of the fleeting and precarious nature of my journey through college. I had been so strong but this time , I couldn't just let it burn from inside me , tears were running through my cheek , my eyes decoding invisible words bitterly inscribed on the ground. I remembered there was one name that was spoken with pride in my village - DICKSON. I was born into a humble family and I was in college. The first and only one in my village to ever attend a higher learning institution. My village people often look at me with hope, seeing a glimpse of a future where their children too could pursue education. But behind the glowing facade of my academic pursuit, life is a tumultuous sea of worries and responsibilities. Walking 20 miles to college each day.

Confessions of a wife after her mother-in-law passed away
by: Asmaa khalil At that young age, when she was a young woman, she was unable to determine the form of human relations between people, and she was unable to feel in advance the feelings of the elderly. She was just her. She believed, when she was twenty years old, that a person who was forty years old was old, and that she had a right to live longer than him. It was just the intellectual absurdities of what teenagers go through, but when she went through the same experience, she felt the real pain that only those who have tasted it know. She was the apple of her husband's eye with her breathtaking beauty... her dark brown eyes... her soft hair with its flowing locks... her great height... her beautiful body that tended to perfection in everything... her gentleness and the sweetness of her voice... She was newly married, and whenever her husband took her to her mother-in-law, her mother-in-law would cry because she loved her son beyond imagination and was attached to him, and she justified those tears by saying that she missed her son and his wife, even though they visited her constantly. The beautiful wife twisted her lips in resentment whenever she saw the look of hidden sadness in her mother-in-law’s eyes, which she would not show. She was hiding a lot and smiling and getting up immediately until she saw them to bring all the food, sweets and drinks she had. On the way home, the wife tells her husband: “I feel that your mother is sad when she sees me.” The husband replies: “Not at all. It’s just that she loves me very much. Excuse her, but nothing on her part bothered you?!” The wife replies: “Yes, really, she treats me well.” Husband: “Then excuse her.” Then they continue on their way back to their home, and they continue to enter the house until he embraces his wife and they melt in love, and every day the wife stays all day arranging the house and fixing what was ruined by the daily routine of life, and before her husband comes, she continues to decorate herself and wear her most beautiful clothes. When the mother-in-law came to visit her son’s house to stay with them for a day, the wife was feeling the heaviness of the day because she wanted to enjoy life with her husband and only her.. The days passed as usual.. The wife became pregnant.. She gave birth to a son who became the apple of her and his father’s eyes.. Her husband’s mother came to visit them and spend a night with them. So the wife decorated and perfumed herself, and the mother also wore beautiful embroidered clothes, and when the son came from work, his wife and his mother rejoiced, and so did his mother. The wife kept looking at her mother-in-law and was proud of what she was doing. After eating dinner, the wife continued to talk to her husband, and the mother continued to discuss with her son, while the wife was in distress, until the husband said, “We are going on a trip to the sea. Will you come with us, mother?!” The mother looked at the ground in shame, indicating that she wanted that, but she was ashamed to say it to her son.. The wife asked her in anger not to agree. The son swore that if his mother did not come with them, he would not leave his place. The wife quickly said, annoyed and annoyed from within, while she appeared otherwise: “You must come with us, my mother-in-law.” Happiness began to appear on the mother-in-law’s face and she beamed with joy. The daughter-in-law said to herself, “Why doesn’t this mother-in-law stay away from us? Does she want her time and the time of others?!” And between the rising of the sun and the disappearance of the moon in the depths of the sky; The boy who was young grows up and goes to school, and fills his mother’s life with joy and joy. The mother-in-law died. So the wife’s life was only her husband and her son. The wife wakes up with the morning breeze to prepare food for them, and she is filled with joy and activity, and she cares very much about her son. Her husband joked with her, saying, “This boy took you from me.” She laughs and is very happy. She gives her son his food and kisses him a lot after she personally supervised him putting on the school uniform. Then she bids him farewell as he descends the stairs and quickly goes to the balcony, waving at him until he gets on the school bus. She begins preparing food for her husband and son, arranging the house, and washing. She was very happy with her clothes and her heart was filled with hope. Several hours later, when her son was due to come from school, she stood between the balcony and the door of the apartment, and until she saw the school car, she rejoiced, and waited for her only son on the stairs, and when he came up, she hugged him eagerly at any time. Homework and sports training.. Outings and breaks.. Buying clothes to choose for her son, who is her life.. A year takes a year with it.. And how happy her life was.. Suddenly.. What is this?!.. That extremely beautiful girl with brown hair that matches the color of her beautiful eyes. ...with a well-proportioned body and a slim waist. My mother... my mother... this is my friend that I told you about... isn't she really beautiful?!... Come on, mother, let's set a date for me to marry her. The girl sees a woman with wrinkles on her face and a plump body. She is yesterday's wife... or today's wife. The mother hurried to stand in front of the mirror to find a plump body, withered skin, and white strands of hair. Soon her son called to her: Come on, mother. She hurried to them. Then the young man said: My bride is beautiful, mother. What am I saying right?!.. The mother looked, then found something pouring from her eyes and quickly falling down her cheeks. Then she looked at the girl again with a look mixed with pity and sorrow... Then she quickly said to herself: I will not cry... I will not cry... but her tears prevailed... And between the past and the present, and her feelings that were mixed up in their interpretation, she found herself saying with a look mixed with remorse, remembering her lack of understanding of life in the past, and she quickly said: “I never understood your feelings when you were in this world.”

The Lies we say to ourselves
I think sometimes reality is harder than what we would want it to be, in these instances we prefer lies to the truth or even reality. We would prefer to convince ourselves that a lie is the truth, simply because we can’t face the facts of that reality.

When a Woman Says “I’m Going to Sleep,” Only Fools Reply with “Goodnight”
---The Language of Love When a woman says "I'm going to sleep," it's not just a statement - it's a cry for help, a plea for understanding, a desperate attempt to connect. It's a whispered secret, a hidden message, a silent scream. And only fools reply with "Goodnight." But we know better. We know that "I'm going to sleep" means "I'm tired of fighting, tired of pretending, tired of being strong." It means "I need someone to hold me, to comfort me, to love me." Like in this conversation: Her: "I'm going to sleep." Him: "What's wrong, my love? You know you can't fool me with that 'I'm just tired' face. I see the tears in your eyes, the pain in your heart. Let me be your safe haven, your refuge, your home." Her: "I'm just...done. Done with today, done with this week, done with this life. I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of expectations, suffocating under the weight of responsibility. I'm tired of being the strong one, the capable one, the one who always has it together." Him: "Come here, my love. Let me hold you. Let me be your lifeline, your oxygen, your salvation. I'll carry the weight of the world for you, I'll be your rock, your shelter, your home. I'll be the one who holds it together when you can't." Her: "I don't deserve you. I'm not worthy of your love, your kindness, your compassion. I'm a mess, a failure, a disappointment." Him: "You deserve all the love in the world, and I'm honored to be the one to give it to you. You are worthy, you are enough, you are loved. Just as you are, in this moment, you are loved. Your worthiness is not defined by your accomplishments or your failures, but by your existence. You exist, therefore you are worthy." For we know that sleep is not just a physical need, but an emotional one. It's a escape from the world, a refuge from the pain, a sanctuary from the chaos. And when a woman says "I'm going to sleep," she's not just seeking rest - she's seeking solace, seeking comfort, seeking love. I remember when my own partner said "I'm going to sleep" for the first time. I was clueless, I was foolish, I was blind. I said "Goodnight" and rolled over, not realizing the depth of her pain, the breadth of her exhaustion, the height of her desperation. But she taught me, she showed me, she guided me. She taught me that "I'm going to sleep" is not just a statement, but a cry for help. She showed me that it's not just about sleep, but about love. She guided me to be the hero, the savior, the everything that she needs. And so I learned, I grew, I evolved. I learned to hear the unspoken words, to feel the hidden emotions, to respond with love. I learned to be the rock, the shelter, the home that she needs. And so can you. You can learn, you can grow, you can evolve. You can be the hero, the savior, the everything that she needs. For in the end, it's not just about sleep - it's about love. It's about connection, it's about understanding, it's about being human. So let us be human, let us be love, let us be the everything that she needs. Let us be the hero, the savior, the rock, the shelter, the home. For when a woman says "I'm going to sleep," let us respond with love, with kindness, with compassion. Let us respond with "I'm here for you, I'm listening, I care." Let us respond with "I love you, I need you, I cherish you." For in the language of love, "I'm going to sleep" means "I need you now more than ever." It means "I need your love, your comfort, your presence." It means "I need you to be my hero, my savior, my everything." And let us be that hero, that savior, that everything. Let us be the love that she needs, the comfort that she craves, the presence that she desires. For in the end, it's not just about sleep - it's about love. And love is what makes us human. --- Please let me know if this meets your expectations!..
