The Emotional Battle of Acne: Inside the Mental Health Connection
Acne can be physically and emotionally painful, but the mental damage it does is often not seen. The struggle with breakouts is more than a skin condition; for those who understand this struggle, the emotional toll it takes needs no explanation.

The Power of a Pure Heart. AI-Generated.
The Power of a Pure Heart Life is like a shallow river, constantly flowing through twists and turns, overcoming obstacles along the way. During this journey, negative thoughts, hatred, jealousy, and the ripples of failure surround us like murky waters. Many individuals allow themselves to be consumed by these turbulent waves, losing their true selves. However, some people rise above these waves, keeping their hearts pure, for their intentions are sincere, and their minds remain untainted. Though the world around may be filled with negativity, if one's heart is pure, its glow never fades. History is full of individuals who, despite being surrounded by negativity, have upheld their truth and purity. One such example is Mahatma Gandhi. During the unjust British rule, he chose the path of Satyagraha. No matter how much injustice, hatred, or violence surrounded him, his purpose remained true and sincere. As a result, his character continued to shine and influence generations to come. Saint Tukaram Maharaj is another unparalleled example. He faced immense criticism, with people accusing him of many things, dragging him into the murkiness of society’s scorn. However, Tukaram’s heart was pure, filled with devotion and truth. His only aim was to worship Lord Vithoba with selfless devotion. His Abhangas (devotional hymns) created a new light in the hearts of people, and even after centuries, his legacy continues to shine. The murky waters symbolize the falsehoods, wrongdoings, and negative environments present in society. But those who have a pure heart, whose intentions are genuine, remain untouched by these waters. When the heart is pure, one’s perspective remains untainted regardless of the circumstances. Such individuals don’t deceive others, don’t harbor ill thoughts, and remain unaffected by negative influences. Consider the example of a tree. No matter how many storms it faces, the tree with strong roots stands firm. Similarly, our lives are the same. No matter how difficult the situation, no matter how biting the criticism, if our roots are firmly grounded in sincerity and pure intentions, we never falter. In this world, many people may doubt your sincerity, find flaws in your actions, or criticize your choices. But instead of being swayed by their murky thoughts, the key is to keep your heart pure. The power of truth and sincerity is such that it cleanses any negativity and helps maintain your individuality. There will be many moments in life when people throw mud in your path. During such times, responding to them is not as important as responding through your actions. Just like a lotus flower that blooms in the muck, it preserves its beauty and purity without disturbing the muddy water. It doesn’t cloud the water; instead, it purifies it. Similarly, our lives should be like that. No matter how much dirt surrounds us, we must preserve our purity. In life, there will be times when people criticize us, when wrong things are said about us. But during those times, we must have faith in our purity of heart. If the heart is pure, no amount of murky waters can overwhelm us. Truth and purity are our true strength. Ultimately, no matter how much murky water surrounds us, preserving the purity of our heart is the truest essence of our life. For when the intention is pure, even murky water cannot wash away our uniqueness.

An ode to my wanderlust- my recent travel reflections
The darkness that surrounds the storm is often the most turbulent period of hardships that embellish us into the trance of not knowing what to do. I learnt the lessons of patience, virtue and gratitude from the darkest periods of my life. Life has its ways of embracing us in its wisdom, staggering us into the whirlwinds of challenges and adversities, only to gift us with peonies of hope. Hope can metamorphose mountains of hatred into the galloping beauty of existence that showers us with the narrative of self-belief and confidence. It is often in a wanderlust away from our daily surroundings that we realize the wonder that the world we live in has to offer. Forgiveness after a storm is like accepting the catastrophe without denying the damage it has done. It is painful but necessary to survive, to thrive in our lives.

Unlocking the Basement of Your Mind
The "deep dive" of therapy is psychodynamic therapy; picture it as spelunking into your own mind's caverns to discover why you feel the way you do and why your life may feel like a rollercoaster you did not ask to embark on. Psychodynamic therapy takes you on a quest to truly understand yourself rather than offering you a fast fix. Prepare to find mental booby traps, early memories, and the reason you are still plagued by the incident where you spoiled something at the age of three.

The Story of a Vietnamese Prostitute
It was one of those hot Saigonese evenings. I was sitting in one of those depraved pubs of Bui Vien Street, having some beers with two Japanese fellow travelers, while watching the motley crowd rambling up and down the road. It was then when, all of a sudden, that cheery, young local girl darted out of the throng, and by the very next instant, had taken the liberty to occupy the vacant fourth chair around our table.

What is Family?
What is Family? In life, we chase many things—education, career, success, fame, and wealth. In the pursuit of all these, we often forget what truly brings joy and stability to our lives. That, my dear friend, is our family. Family is not just a house; it is a place where we find love, affection, and support. It’s not just made up of parents, grandparents, siblings, but is the sum of all the relationships that we nurture. The significance of these relationships is beyond words because they are woven with love, trust, and a unique thread of warmth. As children, the world revolves around the people in our home. The love of a mother, the support of a father, and the playful companionship of siblings create the foundation of our family. It is because of these bonds of affection that we experience the true moments of joy in life. At any stage in life, no matter how successful we become, the true sweetness of that success is felt only when our family shares in our happiness. The smiles on their faces during our success and their words of comfort during our sorrow give us the peace we need. When we feel low, disheartened, and defeated, the embrace of a mother offers solace that words cannot convey. Even within the discipline imposed by our fathers, there lies a love and guidance that shapes our lives in the right direction. Family is the true support of our lives. When the world outside rejects us, criticizes us, or distances itself, our family remains steadfast, supporting us with encouragement and strength. It is on the foundation of their love and trust that we can face every challenge that life throws at us. Family is a safe haven, a place where we can forget our fears, worries, and restlessness. There, we do not need to wear any masks. In the family, we find people who correct our mistakes, understand us, and always wish the best for us, without any expectations or selfish motives. In today's fast-paced world, no matter how busy we are, at the end of the day, it’s always our home we long for. Because family is the true wealth we carry throughout life. These relationships come without any selfish desires—only pure love and care for one another. Our family is like a garden of happiness, where we receive everything we need—love, care, joy, and security. It is the essence of our being, the place where we can dream and turn those dreams into reality. Therefore, we must learn to cherish these family bonds. While achieving success in life is important, sharing that success with our loved ones is even more important. At the end of our lives, when we look back, it won’t be the wealth or the accolades we remember most. It will be the moments of joy spent with our family and the support they offered that will stand out. Family is, in essence, the true beauty of life—a relationship that remains with us through thick and thin, providing us with the strength to move forward. Take the example of a renowned business tycoon who, after reaching the heights of success, spends his free time surrounded by his family. His story is not just about accumulating wealth but about sharing it with those who supported him from the very beginning—his parents, siblings, and children. His success would mean little without the laughter, the shared triumphs, and the shoulders to lean on during the tough times. This scenario mirrors the importance of family. It serves as a reminder that, while individual achievements are celebrated, it is the familial connections that truly matter in the long run. Consider the story of a single parent raising children in a small town. She may not have luxury or fame, but she provides her children with love, discipline, and an unwavering belief in their potential. Her children grow up to become successful professionals, not because of material wealth, but because of the foundation of values, care, and wisdom she imparted to them. Their success, in turn, is a tribute to the strong family ties that nurtured them. Ultimately, family is what holds us together through the various stages of life. It is what gives us the courage to dream, to fall, and to rise again. The love within a family is an invisible force that shapes our world, creating an environment where we feel safe, loved, and understood. In conclusion, family is not just a group of people; it is an unwavering pillar that gives our lives meaning and purpose. Whether in times of joy or sorrow, family is the place where we are always welcome, unconditionally loved, and endlessly supported. Therefore, we must treasure these relationships, for they are the true treasures of life.

True Words and Masks"
"True Words and Masks" Some people have a strange habit—while they speak sweetly to your face, laugh with you, and treat you well, behind your back, they speak ill about you. Their sweet words, their smiles, and their kind actions build trust in your heart. But at the same time, you fail to realize the false pretence behind those sweet words. Those words make you believe in their sincerity, but behind your back, the same people are criticizing you. There is a terrifying contradiction in this behaviour. How can the very people who speak kindly to you also talk negatively about you when you're not around? When you trust them with your thoughts, your feelings, and the stories of your life, you feel that they truly understand you. But behind those sweet words lies hidden criticism. These masks they wear are invisible to you, yet they are there, and when they speak to others, those masks are put on, leading others to believe that you are somehow lesser. Sometimes, it feels as though in putting your trust in them, you have opened up your heart and shared everything about yourself—your vulnerabilities, your past, and your struggles. But for them, this becomes a burden. You think they understand you, but their heart is not in those sweet words. Instead, they are plotting your downfall in a hidden and manipulative way. You don't see it, but that's their strategy. Their goal may be to demean you, create doubts about you in others' minds, or even shake your self-esteem. What can be done in such situations? The truth is, their words should not have any power over you. Instead of being swayed by their sweet words, it is essential to recognize their true nature. What matters most is that you stay true to yourself in your actions and your speech. Live a life rooted in honesty. Don't allow anyone's words to undermine your worth. Your value should never be determined by someone else's deceitful behaviour. In the end, remember this—there are always people who try to deceive with sweet words and gentle behaviour. But the truth behind those words, the hidden pain, will eventually be revealed. In life, true friends and honest words are what anchor us. While others' gossip and slander may hurt, it is how we face this pain and uphold our self-respect that truly matters. True love, genuine actions, and truthful words are what define our existence. Stay away from those who speak sweetly to your face but criticize you behind your back. Being in the company of such people is like engaging in deceit. How you present yourself to others should reflect your true self, not a mask. Never allow anyone to diminish your self-esteem. Example of Deceptive Behavior Imagine you have a colleague at work. This person is always friendly and speaks highly of you when you're around. They laugh at your jokes, share in your success, and you believe they are a supportive friend. You confide in them, tell them your personal struggles, and ask for advice, thinking they will always be there to guide you. But as soon as you leave the room, this same colleague turns to others and spreads rumours about you. They make fun of your decisions, criticize your work, and undermine your efforts. You don’t realize it, but they are slowly building a negative image of you among others. What’s worse, the next time you speak to them, they act as if nothing is wrong, still smiling and comforting you. This is the power of the mask—behind the warmth and sweetness, there lies a hidden agenda. You are left wondering why they behave this way, but the answer lies in their self-interest. By talking down about you to others, they may seek to elevate themselves or gain favour from others at your expense. The sweetness is merely a tool to gain your trust, while the criticism is used to control the narrative behind your back. How to Handle Such People When faced with such individuals, it is crucial not to internalize their false words. Recognize the deceit, not just in their words but also in their actions. These people do not respect you, and no matter how sweet their words may sound, they are not sincere. Do not let their falsehoods affect your self-worth. You must learn to distance yourself from people who wear masks, who speak with two faces. Surround yourself with those whose words and actions align, those who value you not just to your face but in your absence as well. True friends are those who defend you, not those who build themselves up by putting you down. Life is filled with challenges, and sometimes the people we trust the most end up betraying us. But this is a reality that we must face. By embracing our own worth and staying true to our principles, we can protect ourselves from those who seek to harm us with their lies. Let your actions speak louder than their deceitful words, and remember that no matter what others say, your value is defined by your own integrity. So, the next time you encounter someone who speaks sweetly to your face but criticizes you behind your back, remember to see through their masks. Stay true to yourself, uphold your self-respect, and continue on your path with integrity. The true power lies in honesty and authenticity, not in the masks that others wear to d
