I just heard in the news, the cause of Lisa Marie Presley death. When I saw her at the awards on T.V. I could tell she was in great pain. I was wondering why, I was looking at her , not because she was famous but because, it reminded me how I look when I am in pain and trying to cover it up.

My first Stomach obstruction in December 2017. 2015 I had two Tumor removed. I had major surgery, meaning the surgery took over three hours and your whole front have to be open up to removed them.

December 2017

I was taken by my daughter and ex boyfriend to the hospital near by. I thought it was a real bad stomach pain. I saw the doctor 20 minutes later after arriving at the Unity Health Hospital. The doctor was the hospital general surgeon. He told me I need blood work and I need a tube down my throat.

I had the pain for several days, it was my daughter ‘s Christmas break. I had plans. I ended up spending four days in the hospital. I beg the doctor to let me go home for Christmas. I apologize to my daughter but she understand.

I did not allowed to eat that four days I was in the hospital. I was given a special kind of pain killers through the IV, for a few days. The tube down my throat was removed after three days. I was allowed to eat only liquid food. I beg the doctor to let me go home. He told me I could die if it was not fully treated. I promised I will only eat liquid food .

I had a fallow up with my regular doctor. They just assign me a dietitian.

I still ended up being in the hospital for stomach obstruction over two times a year. 2020 , I finally got a signed stomach specialist . I had to take a stomach exam, colonoscopy. Which I Fargo, I used the home test. I just have to take it every year instead of three years.

I have been in and out of the hospital until July 20, 2022. A Surgeon give me the right medication. I try to eat healthy portion of food and stay away from pork and beef. It takes four days for beef to be digested in our body.

Scar Tissues from Surgery operations causes stomach bowel obstruction.

You will need to frequently pass bowel movement daily if you have bowel obstruction issues, to prevent you from needing a tube down your throat. You will need to eat small portion which can be difficult to do if you love to eat.

It’s important to have good communication and your doctor being inform of your health , regularly as a preventative.

I am not a doctor but writing my story base on my experience. I pray a lot to get me through my health scares.

I also recommend not feeling bad about going to the emergency, it really save life. I feel, Lisa Marie Presley would still be here if she went to the hospital instead of the Award. I miss a lot of work, when my stomach is in pain. I don’t want people to feel sorry for me.

I may look good on the outside but my stomach can be fragile and It affect my whole body well being. It does limit what I ate when I attend events or celebrations. I am still forever grateful for my life.

We need to be our own advocate in our health. Our health is our wealth.

Don’t be afraid to go to the hospital or your doctor if you are in severe pain.

Always tell your doctor how you are feeling, don’t undermined your body pains. Our life is precious.

( I recommend to get as much information with different doctors until you find the right one)

Note: I saw over 5 surgeons until I got the right medications and preventative. I was even asignned trauma surgeons at one point.
