Especially in a difficult situation

Never. It's not the easiest thing to do in the heat of the moment; no matter what the situation is, taking a breif time out to stepback from the issue at hand and take a few slow breaths helps. For me, it kinda calms me down

While kicking and screaming and breaking things might provide some temporary relief, it fails to address the underlying problem, leaving you with both the initial issue and additional damage caused by the outburst.

Below listed steps could guide you to your goal

Dress Smartly, But Comfortably:

One of the most straightforward ways to look cool is to wear clothes that reflect your personal style while considering the dress code. Opt for well-fitted outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident. Choose a mix of trendy and classic pieces that complement your body type and make you stand out in a positive way.

Grooming Matters:

Maintaining good personal hygiene and grooming habits is essential to make a positive impression. Keep your hair well-kempt, maintain clean nails, and adopt a skincare routine suitable for your skin type. Good grooming habits project self-respect and confidence to others.

Practice Good Posture:

Stand tall and maintain good posture as it exudes confidence and self-assuredness. Avoid slouching or looking down at the ground, as these body language cues can convey insecurity. Practice walking with purpose and maintaining an open and relaxed stance.

Make Eye Contact:

When conversing with others, make eye contact as it shows that you are engaged and confident. However, don't stare intensely, as it can make others uncomfortable. Strike a balance and remember that making eye contact is a sign of respect and attentiveness.

Develop Your Social Skills:

Being cool doesn't mean being aloof. Cultivate your social skills by being friendly, approachable, and empathetic. Listen actively to others and show genuine interest in their thoughts and opinions. A cool and confident person knows how to navigate social situations with ease.

Embrace Your Passions:

Confidence often comes from being comfortable with who you are and what you enjoy. Pursue your interests, hobbies, and talents, whether they involve sports, arts, music, or academics. Embrace your passions, and you'll naturally attract like-minded individuals who appreciate your uniqueness.

Maintain a Positive Attitude:

Positivity is magnetic and instantly makes you more approachable and cool. Smile often and maintain an optimistic outlook even during challenging times. Avoid gossip and negativity, as they can quickly diminish your cool factor.

Develop a Signature Style:

Find a unique element in your appearance that sets you apart and makes you memorable. It could be a distinctive accessory, a particular hairstyle, or even a specific way of speaking. This individual touch can become your signature style and help you stand out confidently.

Stay Informed and Well-Read:

Knowledge is empowering, and being well-informed on various topics can enhance your confidence during conversations. Stay updated with current events, engage in reading, and participate in discussions. This will not only make you more interesting but also boost your self-assurance.

Practice Self-Compassion:

Finally, remember that nobody is perfect, and it's okay to make mistakes. Be kind to yourself, practice self-compassion, and learn from your experiences. Embracing your imperfections with grace will radiate confidence, and others will appreciate your authenticity.

Conclusion:

Looking cool and confident in school is achievable by embracing your unique qualities, developing good habits, and being genuinely interested in others. Focus on your personal growth, maintain a positive attitude, and remember that true confidence comes from being comfortable in your own skin. By following these ten tips, you'll not only look cool but also feel more confident in all areas of your life.
