Two dogs and two cats. That's what surrounds us at home. They know they belong to the family. And they are comfortable with that. They love us. There is a connection that is unwavering. Running through the house at top speed, just to have some fun with each other. Oh, these are the days.

They count on us for their safety and food and water and shelter. And we chose not to let them down and keep them safe and healthy. The dogs and cats reward us for their security. By letting us know that they love us back. With their purs and barks and laps of the tongues'. They repay us with their heightened sense of hearing for security and peace of mind.

All of this no-one would change in their right minds. Why would they want to? It is so cute and peaceful, as they gracefully lead us through the day.

The dogs, Lola, and Billy, are now inseperable. The cats, Gypsy, and Beau, are good companions and friends. I love their names, they seem to fit their profiles and attitudes. It is so apparent. This is the time to finish out the names of all of the animals in their middle names. I think I should give them all the middle name of Paul, because that is my middle name.

Romp and roll, that is how it should always be, being an animal of the family. You can't help but smile at their antics and sweetness. And the way they handle anxiety. Bumping into walls and stuff. Using laser pointers and cat scratching trees to sedate them from the ways of the world.

Their cousin, Roscoe, is also a trip. He runs around the house all day and jumps on furniture. While paying attention to the commands of his mother and uncle. And others.

Following around the family tree of surprise and whining while he dreams. We all dream of the days that we might be able to enjoy this peace and quiet. Followed by a leash and harness that entangles our lives. Twitching to the music inside of their own heads and bodies.

They sleep with us and go under the covers. The perfect feet warmers. But nothing comes at a slight cost. We do whatever it takes to keep them warm and safe, they follow and keep us the same. Patience will come by as soon as they follow us through the mire of unwavering daily living. This is unconceivable to those without pets or the option or love for the want of companions.

Will they follow us into the unknown, I think that they will want to. Otherwise we would not keep them with us. They help us shake things up. And then they bother to act their own way. Like a helpless child. Naked and torn between mother and father.

Anyways I digress. The siblings of different speciaes are comfortable as hell with each other. That is a far cry from the specific forum. And the stress reliever is that they love us unflenchingly.

Lets trip through the battered broken hearts of the motel of the damned that we call a second coming. Running through judgement of the weak of heart. Follow me to listen to my story of the two and two brothers and sisters of the Jennett family. And you might be surprised at what you hear.

My courage grows cold just remembering the difference of my pride that I call home. The pets and sons and daughters will follow my courage to live another day. The dogs and cats prevail.
