Is Life just a way of passing the time until you die? Possibly. I hope not.

Instead, here are a few tips you may find useful as a kind of How-to-List in Life.

1. Life is Finite - It Begins and Ends.

While you are here, on this planet, please understand that as a visitor, you must enter and leave gracefully and close all the doors when you go. Don't leave another hole in the ozone layer. The world is not flat. You know that.

To all others: "Please pick up all your fears and woes, place them in a box and take them with you when you leave - LET THE NEGATIVITY GO!

2. Life can be nasty. It holds Unexpected Surprises as well as Great Ones! Be prepared for anything, and do not panic.

The following phrase/statement is not going to make me any more unpopular than I already am, so here goes:

People you love WILL hurt you and tears are a part of growth. Pobody's Nerfect. No matter how many times others put you down or hurt you, stand back up. If you get sick, get out of bed. TRY. Go outside and feel normal again.

3. Life is for Living. So please, Live your Life. Stop being an Observer, and join while you can.

We are here for a short time, and our brains as adults hold around a few gigabytes of knowledge or storage. Use that storage wisely because your cell phone has more storage than you do. I include the iPhone.

Feel free to check all these facts, for they are true.

Use the uncommon "common sense" within you. It came with you when you were born and is somewhere within all of us. Even me.

4. Treasure your Family. Respect their Views. Ask Why if they are nasty to you, and listen with Your Heart and Soul. Respect their Feelings Always. Allow them to respect YOU.

Sounds corny - it is not. There will be times when you hate one another and that's ok for a short while. Blood truly is thicker than water. Do not cling. Do not be melodramatic and mean. Do not manipulate those who adore you. Support one another as needed and love unconditionally.

Call often - and even when that call goes to voicemail, say I LOVE YOU and mean it. Do not waste that love. When you say it, write it or display it - don't waste it. MEAN IT. It is more valuable than you shall ever know.

5. Never beg for money from friends and family.

That is one way you will alienate all people forever and cause a Twitterstorm and Signalstorm bar none for the rest of your days.

So the adage "never a borrower or a lender be" holds true, be it in Bitcoin or Cashapp. PayPal or Zelle. Work for what is important for YOU. Take responsibilty for everything you do. Pay your own way. You will be appreciated at worst and revered at best.

Be a Mensh. If you cannot love yourself - how can you be loved? A relationship? Forget about it. Be HAPPY. No one now or in the? Future needs more miserable and depressed wannabees.

If you wish to remain single without a kid, take precautions. Buy an apartment. Alone. The rest goes without a saying. Be happy, be educated, and love yourself.

6. Social media is Life, and Her Acid lasts Forever.

We all love that we can say almost anything about anyone, anytime online. But unfortunately, social media is now "antisocial media."

Digital tracks, like divorce, last forever.

Thank you, Woody Allen, for that line. Go on LOL and spitfire rants as you wish - but there are repurcussions down the line.

Maybe not today or next week - but they will come back to haunt you. That is the truth.

7. Laugh and Love your way through Life. There are—other Ways of Coping with those Highs and Lows.

Life is Real. Be your Life.

Sounds corny and not like me at all. However as I am older now please indulge me.

If you have trouble finding anything to laugh about, see how ridiculous we all look right now - imagine your boss naked, how you look without makeup.

Whatever you do, remember that laughter and love are the best medicines. Love is unconditional and requires nothing more than a touch, a tone of voice, or a Happy Meal now and again.

It is EASY - we humans make it hard.

8. Forget the dogma and hear what others say online. Listen - but do not act on impulse or follow the leader.

  • It's BS. Allow your brain to lead for once.
  • Another unpopular topic. The web tells all but is misinterpreted by most.
  • I helped to create it, and consequently, I believe that I have that right. There are infamous people there and here, in your own Life. BAD STUFF HAPPENS. There ARE weirdos all around. But, they are outnumbered by those who do good.
  • Be daring. Be cautious. Be bold but do not puff and strut. Learn humility and respect for those around you even when this is not respected.
  • Learn more than you teach. Move forward with care. Love with all of you. Do not hate those who care about you.
  • Also, avoid scammers. Do not marry an attorney.

9. Don't Waste your Life living the Dreams of Others.

  • Live your Life the way you choose. Let all that negativity go. Ignore the BS which hits your inbox and get OUTSIDE while you still can.
  • Don't be naive and follow whatever or whoever crosses your Instagram feed. Nothing is REAL in cyberspace.
  • Set beautiful goals and aim for the stars. There is much to learn and teach. It works both ways. Show compassion in all you do. Share the good news, not only the bad stuff.
  • Life is finite - it has a beginning and an end. No one can see when that end will be. It could be today or tonight. It could be in a week or a year. Whatever your END may be, make the parts in between GOOD. Leave your footprints in the sands of time, forever.

Live a good life. Love with all you have and leave hate buried, deep down in the dark, where it belongs.

Nelson Mandela.

We learn behaviors. Hatred is a learned trait. No person is born hating another because of the color of his skin, race, or religion (Nelson Mandela).

Be compassionate and empathetic to others. Please don't spread rumors, for that is hatred tempered by cruelty and jealousy.

10. Go offline and breathe good air wherever you can find it, but beware of Covid, MonkeyPox, Misinformation, and Stupidity amongst those who know better.

None will be leaving anytime soon -but I hope so!

  • We spend most days and nights talking to machines and through them. Our kids learned to do that before the age of 2.
  • Leave the phone at home. Turn off the computers. Play piano. Read a book. Learn guitar. Sing. Dance. It's safe and healthy. Play with your children or husband or your friends.
  • You will discover that being a child again and that feeling of WOW and wonder is not new. It is missed, and we need it badly.
  • PS:

You do not have to be a genius to see the truth in this - RIP Steve Jobs.\.

    I forgot this.

In life, NO ONE owes you ANYTHING. You have to struggle and fight like hell 200% of the time 365 days a year, no matter who you are or how you feel right now.

Get out there and TAKE IT for good and for bad. Nothing is perfect.

Live your dreams. Stop talking and start DOING. Please do not be a passive observer.

YOU are your own light in your own darkness and you have the power to change your life, redirect and focus your passions and dreams.

You are indeed the master (or mistress) of your own destiny. Love a lot. Dream Big and DO IT. BE HAPPY.
