The World Cup is over. The 2018 World Cup jerseys have all been hung up, and France is going home with the Golden Trophy. One of the biggest spectacles in sports lasted for over a month. It attracted millions of fans from all over the world, and hundreds of sexy footballers with some of the hottest bods.

It certainly wouldn’t be a surprise if you became addicted to watching these fine specimens kicking around the ball on the pitch. If you are already suffering withdrawal symptoms, then there is no need to worry, the new season of club football is not far off. Meanwhile, to help you through the next few days, we have come up with our hottest eleven soccer players from World Cup 2018.

It was a tough decision to pick between the likes of Alisson Becker, Roman Burki, and Cho Hyun-woo. However, we have decided to go with the handsome hunk from Brazil. Becker was a first-choice keeper for Brazil in Russia, and he made thousands of fans with his Hollywood looks. The Twitterati has even drawn comparisons with Hemsworth brothers. The 25-year-old currently plays for the Italian club AS Roma, and you can catch him in action again after Serie A kicks off on the 18th of August later this year.

Undoubtedly, the entire Iran team was drool-worthy at this year's World Cup, but we couldn’t pass up keeping Ramin Rezaeian out of our sight. We even had to force shift Martin Caceres to the left side of our defense to properly appreciate Rezaeian. The Iranian defender couldn’t achieve anything spectacular with his national side in the 2018 World Cup, but his smoldering gaze melted numerous hearts. It was a rather sad sight to see him depart from Russia so early.

Who doesn’t like a hot German machine? We know we do. The tall and muscular center-back is not just hot, but he is reliable, efficient, and effective—just like German machinery. He has won numerous accolades with his clubs and his national side. He was a key part of the German national team, which won the 2014 World Cup. The recently finished World Cup was a huge disappointment for Hummels, like every other German; however, we can’t wait to see him back in action in a Bayern Munich jersey in August.

Gerard Pique of Spain is one name which is consistently present in such lists. The 31-year-old, who has Catalonian blood running through his veins, is a familiar face in football, and has won almost every possible trophy in the sport; as well as having Shakira, one of the hottest wives of soccer players, at his side. His World Cup run was cut short due to a penalty shoot-out defeat against Russia, but he will be back in action soon, modeling Barcelona garb.

The versatile Uruguayan gets our nod for the left-back spot. The 31-year-old is not only famous for his man bun, but he is also the owner of smoldering looks. Caceres is a mainstay of the Uruguayan side, and he has been wooing hearts for three World Cups now. He has donned the jersey of some major European teams such as Barcelona and Juventus in his career. If you want some more of him, you can see him play for Lazio in Serie A quite soon.

This World Cup winner is the first name in our three-man midfield. The Manchester United star, who scored in the final against Croatia, is one of the sexiest and most stylish World Cup players of 2018. The French midfielder consistently experiments with his hairstyle, and lives an extravagant lifestyle. The 25-year-old is also responsible for making the dab-celebration famous in soccer. At present, he is the most talented bad boy of soccer, and on quite a hefty salary at Premier League side Manchester United.

Granit Xhaka is of Albanian descent, but he represents Switzerland on the international level. The midfielder possesses a hot bod and a cute face, and, thus, he is a perfect candidate for our team of sexist World Cup players of 2018. He is also called a young Einstein by his teammates because of his passion for science. Did someone say beauty, brains, and a thunderous left foot? Isn’t that a perfect combination? During the World Cup, Xhaka also came into news for his Albanian flag celebration during the 2-1 group win over Serbia. You can catch this happily-married bad boy playing for Arsenal when the season starts in August.

The midfielder/forward from Iceland was not a popular face before the World Cup. However, he became one during his nation’s short stay in Russia. Gislason had 30,000 followers on his Instagram, but his followers sky-rocketed to 300,000 after he entered the field in the second half against Argentina. At present, he has 1.3m followers, which is four times the population of Iceland. This may have something to do with the fact that he's one of the sexiest World Cup players of 2018. The 30-year-old has seen a meteoritic rise to fame in the last month, and the credit goes to his super-hot looks. Gislason looks like a hero out of Viking folklore, or, maybe, the next Thor!

The Columbian attacker has enticed soccer fans for two FIFA World Cups now. Rodriguez first came into the limelight when he claimed the Golden Boot Trophy at the World Cup in 2014. Following his impressive performances in Brazil, he was named World's Sexiest Man by People en Español magazine. He even launched his own 'J10 James' underwear range around the same time. In the last four years, Rodriguez’s sex appeal has only increased, and he is currently the heartthrob of choice for many soccer fans. He split from his model wife Daniel Ospina last year, but no need to waste your energy becoming excited, he is currently dating Russian model Helga Lovekaty.

Olivier Giroud is a pure French beauty, and you can't help but fall in love with him for it. He made a name for himself during his five-and-a-half-year spell at Arsenal. Arsenal fans were so enamored by his looks that they nicknamed him "Handsome French Bastard", or HFB for short. In 2013, Giroud did a naked photo shoot for French charity calendar Dieux du Stade, and, in 2014, he became the face of Hugo Boss's Boss Bottled brand. The World Cup winner has also been awarded the title of "Hottest Premier League Player" in a survey conducted by Paddypower of over 250 American women. The HFB is expected to return to action in a Chelsea jersey in the new Premier League season coming up.

Cristiano Ronaldo is an icon of the game, arguably one of the best players in the world, and there is hardly any football list complete without his name. He has become quite arguably the biggest brand in the game, and he has the personality to match his talents on the field. On the pitch, Ronaldo doesn’t shy away from the limelight, which keeps the focus on his sex-appeal. The Portuguese superstar is the face of many international brands, and he is one of the most famous sportspersons in the world. It was arguably his last World Cup for his national team, but you can catch him in action for his new club once the season starts. He has joined Juventus this summer, and he will soon be entertaining Serie A fans, as well as lovestruck fans acros the world.
