It was a fresh pre-winter evening, and the city hummed with life. Sarah sat in her comfortable condo, gazing at her telephone screen, looking at Instagram. Her feed was an embroidery of experience: companions climbing in stunning scenes, tasting espresso at beguiling bistros, and moving at lively shows. Every photograph recounted an account of elation, satisfaction, and associations that appeared to escape her.

Sarah moaned, an ache of FOMO, or Feeling of dread toward Passing up a major opportunity, crawling over her. She had forever been the dependable one, the constant specialist who seldom wandered external her usual range of familiarity. While her companions appeared to be making every second count, she frequently ended up covered in work or remaining in on ends of the week.

One night, as the sun painted the sky in tints of orange and pink, Sarah's dearest companion, Emily, called her enthusiastically. "Sarah, you will have a hard time believing it! There's a live concert happening this end of the week. You need to accompany us!"

Sarah wavered. She'd knew about the celebration however had work responsibilities that end of the week. She stammered, "I want to, Em, yet I can't. There's a task I can't delay."

Emily moaned, frustrated however understanding. "OK, perhaps sometime later," she said, and they hung up.

The weekend came, and Sarah covered herself in her work, looking at her telephone now and again. Her virtual entertainment takes care of detonated with pictures and recordings of her companions at the celebration. The music, the chuckling, the brotherhood - everything looked so alluring. Sarah really wanted to feel a developing feeling of disconnection.

Sunday night showed up, and Sarah chose to enjoy some time off.
