The Silence Between the Stars

Beneath the cloak of night, so vast and deep,

Where silence hums, and shadows softly creep,

A soul wandered, lost in search of light,

Treading through the endless veil of night.

I reached for her hand, but she was a whisper,

Her touch a memory, fading like mist in the air.

We walked through time, where seconds don’t exist,

And shadows clung like secrets that refused to persist.

"What do you seek, beneath the moon's cold stare?"

I asked, but she only sighed, a breath of despair.

Her eyes were oceans, both calm and wild,

Carrying the dreams of a forgotten child.

"I seek the dawn, where the dark meets the light,"

She answered softly, her voice a fleeting flight,

We left no trace, no sign of our plight,

As if we were dust, fading in the night.

We stopped beneath a starless sky,

I watched her vanish, with no goodbye.

A soul without a name, without a face,

Lost in the endless void, a shadow in space.

Before the sun could rise, I held her near,

But when I opened my eyes, she disappeared.

A whisper, a sigh, a ghost in the air,

A fleeting dream lost, beyond despair.
