"Six of Crows" by Leigh Bardugo is set in the city of Ketterdom; a city of international trade and home to multiple criminal organizations! The story of an impossible heist offered to the 17-year-old Kaz Brekker, also known as the Bastard of Barrel, who was a great magician and a trickster. Accompanying him are five other people—Inej; the Wraith. She would be walking with you and you wouldn't even notice, like a shadow. She would know your secrets, have all pieces of information, and every truth you could ever hide. Then is Jesper, who never misses a target fired by his gun, Nina; the heartender, and a Grisha, who can give anyone a heart attack even from 10 feet distance. Mathias; is a fighter not less than a wolf. And then comes Wylan, who may not be able to read and write but is so specialized in chemicals that he could make any kind of bomb. All six of these criminals, on their way to an impossible heist to save the world from destruction.

This book has anything you could ever ask for. Mystery? check. Thrill? check. Action? check. Romance? check. Plot twist? Thousands. Any moment that you think you know what is going to happen next, the writer surprises you. And every time you are confused nothing can save them now. Kaz Brekker is there with his weird plan. You know the books where they have plan B or C, but here you are going to find plan L, M, N..........and so on. It shows that no matter how clever, perfect, or strong you are, there will always be some weaknesses, but it is on you if you accept them or let them dangle in the enemy's hands. All six of these characters have traumatic pasts, leaving them to suffer in brutal realities. And I think sometimes moving on from that damage is so important, not for ourselves always but for the people who love us, who want us, and whom we want too.

I will have you without armor Kaz Brekker, or I won't have you at all -Inej

Maybe the start of the book was a bit complicated and intricate, though gets better as the story progresses. In fact, anyone who reaches the half will not be able to put it down until the cover comes. But isn't that how great stories are? Whenever my sister recommended books and I got bored in the first few pages, she used to say that it was a sign of a great book, 'you never understand the starting'.

Overall I am going to recommend it 5/5. Grey characters always make the story more interesting. But do not think this is a children's book. You do not want them to learn how to steal a wallet or how to pick a lock now. Do you?

PS. Regarding the title, I have a theory. When you are playing cards, you don't know what the other person has up their sleeves. Sometimes, you are shocked by their throw, other times you are kind of expecting it. But no matter what, in the end, it is all about losing or gaining money. In this book, all six main characters are the rarest and strongest cards, which could be the reason to win or lose the match, depending on whose side they decide to play in the end.
