I’ve been wanting to read Katy Evans’ book for a long time, because I read something on a similar topic on the #galatea app titled “Journey’s End” and I literally cried with laughter there 🤣

Did Katy Evans’ book delight me as much?

Million dollar Marriage — review

We meet crazy young Luke, who runs a bar he inherited from his grandfather and is struggling with debt, and Nell, a stiff PhD student who has to pay off her student loan. They are both persuaded by their friends to participate in a TV show in which they win a million dollars. True, winning would ensure that they would pay off their debts so… why not?😆

The extremely different characters of this novel were brilliantly created by the author, they learned from each other and went through difficulties together in a beautiful way😍 Initially, they did it for money, but they quickly stopped caring only about money.

I loved Luke’s behavior and how much he sacrificed for Nell. Even though he was an “overgrown Yeti”, we do not experience rudeness in his behavior, which can sometimes be repulsive. On the contrary, it’s a walking ideal…🔥

The book perfectly shows how love changes a person and that it is always worth fighting for it and not worrying about what other people think about it ❤️

I love Luke and Nell and I wholeheartedly recommend this book to every romantic woman😁

And I will say immodestly that this is the perfect story for Valentine’s Day evening❤️❤️❤️
