8 Most Haunted Books of All Time

No doubt that books are one of the most trusted and needed friends of humanity. Mankind has been using books for sharing knowledge and secrets to others and succeeding generations since time immemorial. Even, Almighty God uses books to share His teachings and philosophy with us. But, what if I say that some books on this earth are haunted and cursed? Not believing. But, really some books exist in our nature which are of our dimension but have a relation with other mysterious dimensions and most probably they are from the devil - the enemy of God and Mankind.

1. The Grand Grimoire

It is one of the darkest books in the world and is also known as the book with incredible power. The writer of this book is still not known. But, it is believed to be written in 1521. The Grand Grimoire is full of black magic and dark secrets. In this book, you can find how to call a devil or Lucifer - the king of demons and also how to make a deal with him. Yes, deal with devils. Now, it is kept in a locker of Vatican City after performing all biblical rituals so that its negativity could not harm anyone. The Grand Grimoire is now not available publicly because it is believed that if anybody read it fully, then the devil would enslave his soul.

2. The Book of Abramelin

The Book of Abramelin was written in the 15th century by a man whose name was Abraham. Once Abraham visited Egypt and there he met a magician, not that magician which you see on TV shows, but that who really knows dark magic and dark secrets. He told Abraham many dark and mysterious secrets and strange things which you and I can never imagine. He told him how to live the dead person, the location of under earth treasures, how to contact devils. Besides this, he also told him the secrets of becoming invisible and flying in the sky. Isn't it strange flying in the sky and becoming visible?

3. Codex Gigas(Devil's Bible)

Codex Gigas is one of the most mysterious books of the world that is also known as Devil's Bible. It only contains 320 pages but still, it is the heaviest one weighing 72 kg. Nobody was aware of this book until 1648 when the thirty years was just to complete. Swedish army after looting the city of Parak went back to Sweden with their looted materials in which they found this mystery - Codex Gigas.

Codex Gigas was written in the 16th century by a Buddhist monk. He vowed to his master but he broke it and as a punishment, he closed himself in a room and decided not to eat and drink anything. He resolved to write what he learned in his life like black magics, dark mystery in a book in a single night. Without eating and drinking anything, the Buddhist monk wrote 310 pages out of 320 pages. He was not able to write the rest of them so, he called someone for help. Whom did he call? It was not the God but the king of demons - the Lucifer. He called him and sold his soul to him to complete the book. Buddhist monk died and the Shaitan(Lucifer) took the pen and completed the last 10 pages of the book.

Now, the Codex Gigas is also kept in a locker of a Vatican City with the Grand Grimoire and the haunted doll after performing all Christian rituals. But, the last 10 pages of this book which was written by the demon were stolen by someone. Only God knows who stole it and who is using it and how it is being used.

4. Book of Soyga

The Book of soyga is also called the book of death. Nobody knows what is written in this book as it is not written in the common languages of the world. All the letters are written in separate boxes or grids. A scholar named John Dee tried to decode this book. For that, he called an Angel named Uriel. Uriel told him that only the worthy one of this book could decode it. John Dee had a collection of 3000 books out of which 2999 books do not have anything mysterious but this was really different. When John Dee died in 1608, it disappeared mystically and nobody could find it. But, suddenly it appeared at two places simultaneously in the 19th century. One at the British Library and second at Bodleian Library Oxford and till now, it is lying there.

5. Necronomicon

Necronomicon - people call this book the most haunted book of all time. You can find scary figures on each page of this book. If you get this book, you can contact your loved ones who are not alive. It contains the exact way to contact the dead souls.

Necronomicon has also appeared in famous serious like Friday the 13th and Evil dead series. Currently, its original copy is kept in a locker of Massachusetts Miskatonic University. This shows that it is really haunted.

6. Grimore

Grimoire is also a haunted book that contains information about black magics and unknown things. Several people who even did not believe in black magic had made it their life after reading Grimoire. It is believed that whoever read this book in full, the devil enslaved his soul.

7. The Orphan's story

The orphan story is a story of a 14 years old orphan who moved to Spain to test his luck and fortune and become a successful man. But, there his mind soon turned and he became a monk. This book was written in 1600 but it was decoded and translated after 400 years in 2018.

You would ask how it is haunted. Then, again read that this book was not translated till 2018. Whoever tried to translate this book before 2018 died in an accident or for some reason. Thankfully, it got successfully translated in 2018.

8. The Great Omar

The Great Omar is the last book of this story. It is also called the most cursed book of all time. It is also said that the famous Titanic ship which was also called 'unsinkable ship' sinked in the Atlantic Ocean because of this book only. When the Titanic was sinking, it was there at the ship and along with the ship, it also got lost in the Atlantic Ocean.

The original copy of the book is not found still but an author created its second copy with the help of original drawings and texts. But, it got destroyed in the London bomb attack of World War II. After this, again an author tried to rewrite the book. After 40 years of hard work, he made its third copy and donated it to British Library. And, till now, this book is there and nobody reads it.
