Everyone has had one of those days when you've needed to get out of the house quickly, maybe you overslept or suddenly remembered you were meant to meet up with a friend before work, yet you also want to look flawless and stunning with the most minimal effort.

Well, fear not ladies and gentlemen, for I have the 5 product you will need to pull off any simple looks:

1. clear mascara

Ok in all honesty i didn't see the point in this for a while, but once i tried it it was a game changer. My favorite one is from The Body Shop as it can also be used to tame unruly eyebrows as well as fixing eyelashes quickly. The real bonus about it being clear is that you don't have to worry about it going everywhere or it clotting as no one can see these imperfections.

2. liquid concealer

Alright so I know this is probably in everyone's day to day makeup anyway but let me tell you how why it's possibly my favorite type of product. The obvious uses are to hide those pesky dark circles and any blemishes, but what if I told you it makes a great highlighter/contour alternative?

Using a lighter shade of concealer on your cheek bones, nose, forehead and chin really helps bring out definition when you really can't be asked to bake your face or worry about wonky lines.

3. Compact highlighters

Another item on this list with alternative uses apart from the obvious. So now you've used your concealer as a highlighter what use would an actual highlighter be used for? Eyeshadow.

Ok hear me out: A compact highlighter will be close to the color of your skin so will also form a stunning nude look for your eyes. The shiny quality will also bring attention to your eyes and brows causing more people to notice your stunning new look. It's an easy thing to grab in the morning as well rather than hurriedly having to worry about whether it's a smokey eye or a cut crease look

4. Pink lipstick

Now i'm obviously not talking about the hot pink kind, but i mean it's up to you to be honest. A soft light pink lip I've found can really tie a whole look together no matter the occasion. It causes people to notice your lips, but also move up your face towards your eyes, where it is easier to keep anyone's attention.

Another bonus of a pink lip is a small bit of red in the center of both the upper and lower lips can be blended out to make your lips look both more stunning and bigger.

5. Blush

Last but not least this is probably my most essential item on this list. Put it in the right spot and you can instantly go from average to flawless. By adding color to your face, it makes you look more lively and awake, even when all you really want to do is go back home and watch Netflix (we've all been there don't worry).

I hope this list has revolutionized the way you do your make up as well as saved you both time and money, by eliminating any useless items you were thinking of buying for the sake of buying. I use all of these tips and tricks on a regular basis so I promise all of you that they work (the mascara one and concealer one are my absolute favourites though).
