Akash SharmaPublished 5 years ago in BlushThe Beautifying Benefits of Green Tea
We all try our best to stay healthy—to varying degrees. Some of us do the bare minimum, drinking water and exercising (semi) regularly. Others of us go the Gwyneth Paltrow route and never miss an opportunity to toss “quinoa” and “antioxidants” into any conversation. But wherever you fall on the healthful spectrum, you have probably heard of the benefits of green tea. But chances are, you probably can’t remember them off-hand. No matter, you can use some ginkgo biloba for that.
Candace ElizabethPublished 5 years ago in BlushAlternative Natural Beauty Options
I have had acne since I was probably about 13. I've always loved the idea of living off the land, or living wholly. Recently, I've been trying to incorporate that into my beauty routine by cutting out the harsh chemicals. Seems to do the same as salicylic acid and creams with 40 different chemicals so if you wish to join me on my quest come with me and read my tips.
The Benefits Coconut Water Has on Your Skin
Paradise is a word that has one definition but can still mean something different to each individual. A common theme is sitting on a tropical beach while hearing the rush of waves hit the shore. You’re sitting on a sandy towel, an umbrella giving slight shade, and a coconut with a straw held in one hand (SPF in the other).

Self Care - Vegan and Cruelty Free!
Self care is important. Taking the time to care for your skin, hair, nails, etc. is vital to feeling your best and being your most confident self. The more I've researched the beauty industry, the more I've learned how toxic, harsh, and damaging so many of the ingredients and practices used can be. I'm a firm believer that what you put on your body is just as crucial as what you put in your body and had to make a more conscious change once I'd educated myself. I've been steadily switching out all of my old beauty products for more ethical choices for a year now and I'm finally at a place where I can confidently recommend a few! I'm so passionate about creating a more sustainable, compassionate world so I'm always looking to share my knowledge of smarter, kinder options with anyone interested. The products mentioned here are some of my tried and true self-care items. I've tested many of them out over a long period of time and have seen the same quality results as many of my past favorites. Without further ado, here is my current list!
Olivia RylanPublished 6 years ago in BlushBest Petrolatum-Free Lip Balms
Nothing beats organic lip balms to give you the right vitamins and minerals into your lips. While there are so many different types and flavors of lip balms out there, just which ones are natural? In fact, there are so many ways to moisturize our lips, from coconut oil to castor, do we really need the mineral jelly in our balms? Petrolatum in lip balms is the base of the balm, which is usually a jelly that lubricates. But there are definitely better and more natural ways to hydrate our lips.
