Don’t forget that using natural ingredients is the key to achieving natural beauty.

Beauty trends are embracing natural accents and it’s becoming clear that inclusivity trends are going viral. In 2019, women of all shapes and sizes are invited to stop hiding beneath layers of heavy makeup and push towards creating a more supportive global beauty community.

Makeup companies are also providing us with many eco-friendly products, so that we can choose from a variety of beauty goods that won’t damage our skin (or the planet). Here are some ways to emphasize your natural beauty by using all natural ingredients and products.

Stay hydrated.

If your skin is dry, you have headaches often and feel soreness or fatigue, chances are that you might not be taking enough liquids. Your body is made mostly from water, which is why it needs water to function. Dehydration is not easy to notice straight forward, but some of the symptoms are those mentioned above.

Besides actively taking water in by drinking it, you should also think of your skin and use moisturizer to keep it hydrated. There are different types of moisturizers for several skin types, so you should try to find the one that suits your skin type best. Keep in mind that natural moisturizers will do you most good.

Conceal, don’t cover.

Always go for the concealer, and forget about heavy foundation. Concealers are a great way to simply hide your little imperfections, but without having to compromise your face’s natural moisture.

Another way to conceal without covering is to use BB cream. This ultra-lightweight piece of makeup will provide you with all the benefits of moisture and even SPF protection, but with sheer coverage, letting your skin breathe easily.

In addition, try not to cover your face with glasses, because they are only stopping you from showing off your beautiful face. Instead, you can go with contact lenses that are unnoticeable and much more comfortable, so that your face can truly open up.

Oils are beauty essentials.

Besides hydrating your skin, oils can also benefit your beauty with their miraculous cleaning properties. They work better than most cleansing products based on chemicals. They don’t clog pores and deprive your skin of its natural moisture, but still provide you with most needed healthy ingredients.

There are different types of oils you can use depending on your skin type. For example, if you have very dry skin, you can use avocado oil. Argan oil works great for dry hair, while coconut oil is perfect for sensitive skin. If you have skin that is easily irritated, then flaxseed oil is the one for you. You can easily find the one you need by just doing a little bit of research.

Vitamins and Minerals

Leading a healthy diet is essential if you wish to truly enhance your natural beauty because any lack of vitamins and minerals will eventually show up on your skin, hair, nails, or teeth. In order to prevent this, you need a lot of vitamin B7—also known as biotin—because it gives strength and quality to your hair and nails. If you wish to enhance your smile (or just savor it), then you should know that vitamin C is essential for teeth quality. As for your skin, you ought to take a lot of vitamin B12 and iron. Iron deficiency can be easily noticed by the loss of color on your usually plum cheeks.

Exfoliate!

However hard you try to keep your skin in shape, it needs to refresh on its own from time to time. Exfoliation helps your skin recover faster and leaves it polished and luminous. Good natural exfoliates are sugar, yogurt, and honey, so try using these instead of grainy scrubs that scratch and damage your skin more than they help it recover.

You can also damage your skin if you exfoliate too often. Two times a week is just about enough; while for more sensitive skin types, it would be even better to exfoliate only once a week. Remember that exfoliation is a natural process, and all you need to do is help your body finish the job, not do the job instead of it.

Don’t forget that using natural ingredients is the key to achieving natural beauty. So, if you include vegan makeup products and organic ingredients in your everyday routine, you’re off to a good start.
