Fear is the best starting point for the change of consciousness

Fear is the best starting point for you and me to change our consciousness. Fear or any negative emotion itself brings a kind of energy difference. Through some practice, this energy gap has become the fuel for the transformation of our consciousness. It can be said that the greater the fear, the greater the power of transformation.

There are two ways you can help yourself return to the origin of consciousness again and again through fear or any negative thoughts.

First of all, it is the method of "submission".

No matter what atrophy or fear you have in your heart, as long as you observe it, then give your fear and atrophy to the forces you trust-the Lord, God, Buddha, Bodhisattva, Universe, Nature.

At first, you may not be proficient, and you have to wait for fear to break out for a while before you think of handing it over. At this time, you may not be able to hit the brakes, let alone what to hand over. Even, you may be afraid of what you hand over and the result you hand over. You may have thought about it more and more, hating both the causes of fear and the consequences of things.

But it doesn't matter. In the same way, whether it is fear, its antecedents, and possible consequences, you can hand it over to the Lord, God, Buddha, Bodhisattva, universe, and nature. There is fear, anger, worry and regret in your heart, and you just hand it over again and again. Hand it over again and again, and you will become more and more skilled. Even if you just feel the shadow of fear and feel it in advance, you can hand it over to the Lord, God, Buddha, Bodhisattva, universe, and nature of your heart. (editor's note: handing it over means making yourself "empty" without analysis or chagrin, just like saying goodbye to an old dress that doesn't fit. It also means to make yourself "small", to be a child, to be the child of "God". No matter how big the problem is, leave it to "God" to bear. )

When you hand it over again and again, it seems that there is a kind of space in your heart, which makes you feel the situation of some environment, which can easily arouse your fear. You are becoming more and more sensitive and skillful, and once you enter this environment, you can naturally hand it over even if there is no fear.

"surrender", with the concept of unity. Unity will naturally make people happy (Note: the unity here, there is no confrontation, no resistance, no regard for the environment, the outside world as a threat or hostile existence, is to be with them, like close partners). As long as you hand it over and over again and become more and more accustomed to the practice of surrender, you will naturally find that surrender itself brings joy and relaxation. It is a positive loop in itself, and you look forward to entering it at any time.

If you become more skillful, you will find that even if you are not aware of the shadow of fear, you have succumbed. When you rejoice in submission at any time, your fear has no chance at all. In doing so, it is not to suppress, much less to press fear into the subconscious, and to give it a chance to fight back at any time.

You will find that the more often you practice submission, the more this positive brain circuit will expand completely. Even if your original intention of submission is not to replace the negative circuit with it, the negative circuit has unwittingly disappeared.

More importantly, if you are accustomed to surrender to a point, you can always be sure that you can surrender at any time, and the attraction of doing so will be so great, as if surrender has become a very important part of your life. Before you know it, you do it effortlessly from morning till night, and surrender has become your norm.

To stay in this state is to stay in the "big self". Such obedience does not need to be connected with anything-submission for the sake of submission; submission for submission; surrender for submission; submission equals submission. Next, there is no next, we naturally go to the root of relative consciousness, and can stay there at any time.

The second way is to use "reference".

As long as you find yourself shrinking, in fear, you don't actually need to analyze the causes, consequences and contents of atrophy and fear, but immediately make a U-turn and ask yourself-- who is shrinking, who is afraid for whom, who is this fear, there is this atrophy.

At this time, you will naturally find that there is a "I" who is experiencing atrophy and fear, and then you can gently ask-- then, who am I?

At this point, I'm sure you already know that if you ask this question, the point is not what kind of answer you want. Asking this question is just a reminder at best. Remind you of what reminds you-- "I", the most fundamental "I", is not this body, not this body and mind that can be limited, shrunk, and frightened. The root of me is that there is no fear before, there is still fear after. At the root of me, I am eternal.

At this point, you just need to easily bring your attention back to your breath. Back in, out. One in, one out. Next, easily experience the feeling of being or being brought about by breathing.

You keep feeling this feeling. Proficient, like the practice of submission, you will naturally find that this is a feeling of joy, but would rather stay in it.

You become more and more skilled, in the same way, you will become more and more sensitive. You are already doing the "reference" exercise before the attack of fear. Even, you can stay in a feeling of existence through "reference" at any time. Unconsciously, the reminder of the "reference" has become your most common homework of the day. Whether you are walking, talking, or doing things, you find that you can easily feel this being, the feeling of being, and there is no conflict with what is in front of you.

You don't need to "think". On the contrary, you can get "action" at any time, just like this existent "being", helping you in doing things and thinking. Not only does it have no effect on what is in front of you, but you also suddenly realize what freedom is.

Before you know it, fear, shrinkage, past sadness and trauma become very far away, and you naturally find that this kind of homework brings you the greatest joy and joy of the day, and you choose to enter it at any time, so that any negative thoughts have no chance to interfere with you, not to mention fear.

Even if there are occasional thoughts of fear and atrophy, and sometimes you can't even hit the brakes, you find that you will enter the exercise at any time and find that fear no longer has any effect on you. At best, you forget to practice for a while, but when you think about it, you bring it back to your mind.

The two methods of "submission" and "reference" can bring you back to the origin of consciousness at any time, as I said in my book "me: the case of mistaken identity"-in this world, if you and I have one more exercise to talk about, this is the best we can do. You don't need to jump out of the world or into a more previous source. This is something that neither you nor I can do, and in fact, there is no need to do it. Then, let nature take its course. You will find that your life has changed a lot, and the sadness and fear of the past have disappeared.
