Tommy B Debuts Six-Track EP "B1"

Milwaukee, WI (Vocal) 05/10/2023 - Folk Rock artist and multi-instrumentalist Tommy B is excited to share his debut EP with the world. Tommy B was born and raised in a small town in Bristol County, Massachusetts where his interest in music began at the age of seven years old. Growing up in a musical family where his dad performed all throughout the state of Massachusetts definitely helped spark his interest in the industry and passion for music as a whole. After graduating college with a degree in Business Management, Tommy B packed up his things and moved to Pennsylvania in 2014. While in Pennsylvania, one of his goals was to further his music career, and that is exactly what he is doing. While he moved to Pennsylvania in 2014, his music career did not truly begin until the year 2021 when he booked his first public solo show. Ever since then, Tommy B has been performing over 100 shows each year throughout the East Coast and beyond.

Tommy B’s debut EP, titled “B1,” was released in February of this year and features six uniquely crafted songs that he wrote between the ages of seventeen and twenty-three. His younger self inspired the EP entirely, and it does a great job of showing where his head was at during that point in his life. The songs on the EP are about experiences that he faced throughout those years such as breakups, relationships, and even being overlooked for a job that he was hoping to get. All of these are scenarios that most of us find ourselves in at some point. You learn a lot about yourself between the ages of seventeen and twenty-three, and Tommy B decided to document both the good and bad through his music. Tommy B’s music is especially unique due to his amazing guitar finger-picking skills which are incorporated throughout several songs on the EP. The guitar picking gives the album a bright sound and radiates a more upbeat type of energy. Aside from guitar, Tommy B is also a talented percussionist and pianist, but also has learned to play various other instruments as well.

Tommy B’s voice blends perfectly with the music, and you can hear the emotion in the lyrics that he sings. Each song truly tells a story. There is something for everyone to enjoy on “B1” as it contains both upbeat, happy songs and slow, moody ballads. Everyone can relate to the EP in some capacity and find peace within the project. Tommy B stresses the message of overcoming tough times and coming out on the other side even stronger than before, a message that everyone needs to hear at some point in their lives. Tommy B also released his first-ever music video for his single, “2300,” off of the “B1” EP. The song is all about him being happy and feeling free now that he is 2300 miles away from an ex and that is depicted within the carefree and outgoing style of the video.

Tommy B’s debut EP has been a long-time coming, and now that it is released, it’s time to move on to his next big project. While others may have taken a break after such an accomplishment, Tommy B has been working hard towards his goal of releasing three new albums by the end of 2023. Aside from writing and recording, Tommy B is also currently touring around the United States performing as a solo act. As of right now, Tommy B is on track to perform over 130 different shows this year, so be on the lookout. This is just the beginning for Tommy B.
