However, it's no secret that these female singers are making big money from all the music they're putting out in the world. But the real question is, who exactly are the highest-paid women in music? Let's find out.

Barbra Streisand — $30 Million

Award-winning actress, singer, and song-writer Barbra Streisand is one of the top highest-paid women in music. She’s also the only person who’s received all the famous awards such as an Oscar, Tony, Emmy, Grammy, Golden Globe, Cable Ace, and others. Instead of going to college, she moved to Manhattan and worked as a cabaret singer. There, her Broadway debut led her to a recording contract and she soon wrote and created a long series of gold records that’s loved by many people even to this day.

Songs from “The Way We Were,” “Women In Love,” “Somewhere,” and many others. Even when she starred in Yentl, she also directed the film, and produced and wrote the music for it, too. With as much talent as Streisand has, she managed to earn herself a whopping $30 million.

Katy Perry — $33 Million

Our energetic, courageous, and colorful Katy Perry is also among the highest-paid women in music. While her music is super catchy and her voice is very distinct, $33 million is something she's proudly earned through hard work. She's also viewed as a major role model among many of her fans.

Her albums such as PRISM, One of the Boys, Teenage Dream, etc. have been bought by millions of fans and enjoy the colorful and creative songs she puts out there. Sexy, unique, and talented, she's also a phenomenal dancer who kills it during her concerts. Not to mention "Toxic," "Womanizer," and "Oops!... I Did It Again" are just a few of my favorites. She manages to make all her songs super catchy, but different from each other. And while she's making $34 million, you bet she's saying "Gimme More."

Celine Dion — $42 Million

French-Canadian singer Celine Dion destroyed the charts in the 90s, but she's still a huge figure in the entertainment world today. Her breakthrough stardom came in 1992 when she recorded the theme for Disney's Beauty and the Beast. From there, music became her passion and she started creating stunning music that's still loved through generations.
