I present to you: The Ultimate Workout Playlist. 17 songs. 58 minutes and 17 seconds. All designed for the most empowering fitness hour of your life. I've curated this playlist on Spotify, and you can access it by clicking here.

Let's dive in!

1. Fitness by Lizzo. This song absolutely PUMPS. ME. UP. I put it first on the playlist because I wanted something that would set the tone for the rest of the workout - sexy, strong and motivating. "But I don't do this for you," she says, and I have to agree. Working out is personal, a connection of the mind, body and breath. And what's more personal than a song all about working on your fitness all because you love yourself? Here for it. I do full body stretching during this song to get warmed up and mentally ready.

2. Throw It Back by Missy Elliott. Keeping in tune with the Lizzo vibe, the next jam has a tempo that is perfect for strength exercises like squats. I'll be honest, I'm not a gym or huge workout person. I NEED music that pumps me up to get through it. Throw on some Throw It Back for that big booty legwork motivation.

3. Bussin by Tay Money and Saweetie. Are you ready to feel like a *whole* !brand! *new* person? This is the jam. I continue with the squats and legwork for this one, throwing in some hip bumps and twerks when I feel like it, which is like 3/4 of the whole song.

4. Money by Leikeli47. The background claps and snaps, oooh! Motivating, perfect tempo, and fresh. You can do some sexy stretching to this song, or continue with strength and core.

5. Heavy by Powers. This song is sexy, has a great beat to workout to, and keeps the power moving through your body. I love getting my abs working to this jam because it's not too fast, but still "heavy" enough to get you through.

6. WAP by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. Honestly, if this isn't on your workout playlist you're doing it wrong. I know, it's nasty. But so is sweating so? Pump it up!

7. Jump Around by House of Pain. This is where I start adding in cardio, usually by literally jumping around. I do about 50-70 jumping jacks to get started and keep it moving with freestyle dance. You can do pump squats to this, you can dance, the limit does not exist.

8. Do You Love Me by The Contours. Okay, consider this song some comedic, fun relief in the middle of your workout. There is nothing I love more than just JAMMING to this song and pretending I'm in Dirty Dancing grinding my hips in time with a sexy young Patrick Swayze. Core workout and vintage fantasy all in one.

9. Ragtime Interlude/I'm Really Hot by Missy Elliott. You are probably actually very hot at this point from sweating. Keep the momentum with the Ragtime Interlude.

10. Disco Tits by Tove Lo. "I'm sweat from head to toe, I'm wet through all my clothes." Need I say more? A workout staple.

11. Stupid Love by Lady Gaga. Keeping with that up-tempo, Stupid Love is SO GOOD for cardio moves. I like to pretend I'm actually her when this one comes on and usually simply cannot stop myself from dancing like I'm at the club, or on Chromatica.

12. I Love It by Icona Pop and Charlie XCX. More cardio. YOU DON'T CARE! YOU LOVE IT!

13. We Appreciate Power by Grimes. At this point you're probably DONE sweating but you know the show must go on. You need the industrial, gritty, robotic ambience that is Grimes. This one will make you push yourself.

14. People by The 1975. Piggybacking on the Grimes vibe, this is the song you need to go the HARDEST on. Punch some bags. Get a little angry. Let it OUT with this one and then you're done with cardio!

15. Black Moses by Channel Tres ft. JPEGMAFIA. Let's slow down but keep the tone. Reeling from the last two powerhouse songs, this one takes it back to the Missy Elliott vibe before the cooldown.

16. Funeral by Miguel. Because clearly by this point you should be dead. If you're not, do some deep stretching on this one.

17. Lose Yourself to Dance by Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams. I know this might seem like a strange cool down song, but I absolutely love it. "Take my shirt and wipe up all the sweat," they sing. Lose yourself to the fact that you just accomplished a tough workout!

Now that you're equipped with the playlist, I'd love to hear what workout moves you put together for it! Feel free to leave a comment and share some healthy tips. :)
