. Clement Anthony Burke (November 24, 1954 – April 6, 2025) was an American drummer best known for being the powerful rhythm behind the famous band Blondie. He joined the group in 1975, just after it was formed, and became a big part of its success. His energetic and creative drumming helped shape Blondie’s sound, which mixed punk, new wave, pop, and even disco.
