3/ Oscar Mic

On the track, TV Life, Oscar Mic says... “The TV Life theme itself was originally inspired by lockdown and how our options were suddenly limited. TV and film played a bigger role in our lives overnight. Lockdown life, to an extent, is TV life. It's also about how we, as a culture, are given very little to inspire us. Mainstream TV with it's reality shows and talent shows are bland and, to me, very surreal. We are not offered inspiration these days. We have to go outside the realms of the everyday to find it. TV controls us and keeps us numb.

4/ Gemma Dorsett

Gemma Dorsett has spent the past 15 years developing her voice across rock, blues and soul. Gemma currently fronts her own blues/rock band and has been writing new material, ready to come out of lockdown, with local bass player Simon Hepton. They are supported live by Will Halsey on drums, Marc Harris on hammond/keys, Georgia Levermore on lead guitar and Mark Dorsett on rhythm guitar.

5/ This Kind Of Things

This Kind Of Things is DIY project that was born in 2010, when Zézé starts recording some instrumental ideas that were left in the drawer for a long time. The featured song, Right In The Thick Of It, is about the expectation of life and the twists and turns it takes with its ups and downs. Sometimes the thoughts are radical and almost suicidal, but getting out of the comfort zone and letting go of those who don’t matter, lending a hand to those in need, ends up bringing freedom of spirit and thus continuing to wait for what life has in store for us.

6/ Joyce Ln

Joyce Ln is an Indie Rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Starting as a group of high school friends learning to play instruments and a shared love for the same bands. Joyce Ln spent a summer learning covers and playing for friends. During the Covid pandemic, the band used their free time to focus on music again and write their latest single, Static. The song was recorded and produced by the legendary Gravity Studios. Static was inspired by the purchase of a new fuzz guitar pedal, which in extremely rare situations can capture and output radio station audio through a guitar amp.

7/ Van Go Go

Van Go Go, the bad-ass rock band from Michigan, originally formed in 2008, but parted ways shortly after that. They're now back together and better than ever! Van Go Go is Nathan Mackinder (vocals), Jason Schaller (guitar), Paxton Olney (bass) and Jonah Brockman (drums). What encouraged them to get the band back together now? Covid-19 AND the universe of course! Van Go Go had some unfinished business, as well as unfinished music from 2008, and they collectively decided it was time to tell the stories through their music that come from their real-life experiences. The future is limitless for Van Go Go.

8/ Blueox

BLUEOX is a psych-rock band channeling the spirit of 70’s-era Pink Floyd and My Morning Jacket. At its core, BLUEOX is Kieran Sullivan (Vocals, Guitars, Bass) and Donny Dykowsky (Guitars, Bass, Vocals, Production.) This Jersey City band’s eclectic music is visceral and melodic, and their live shows are unpredictable and worthy of premier jam band status. To accompany the album release, BLUEOX recently premiered the video for “Agogo” – an afrobeat song with layered rhythms and group vocals cradling an inter-dimensional love story.”

9/ Red Nobilis

After many years of creation with a band, Red Nobilis went solo in 2019. Multi-instrumentalist, Red Nobilis composes, writes, plays, produces and records the whole instruments, except for drums. With Red Nobilis we dive into a world where saturated guitars, melodies and warm harmonies meet, supported by a clean voice and vibrant crescendis. With a real catchy chorus, Tori, leads us to the sunny and winding roads of groovy poprock, with a summer feeling. Led by a dancing bass/drum groove, this song is structured around a clean and smooth voice, giving a summer holidays vibe.

10/ Winona Avenue

Winona Avenue first introduced themselves at the beginning of 2019 as a mix of alternative rock and synth pop. From Indianapolis, Indiana, Winona Avenue is a two-piece band featuring brothers Daniel Deputy and David Deputy. In 2019, Winona Avenue released their self-titled debut album, produced by Daniel Deputy and mixed by Isaac Moreno. The album was written with a common theme of inspiration, optimism, life, and hope.
