I was scrolling through Twitter today and I saw this thread by a user named @haylesoflagos that CRACKED. ME. UP!!!!

He compiled a list of 10 Nigerian lyrics that are so silly out of context. If we're being honest, they're still silly even within context but that's what makes it so funny.

Beside every song lyric, Hayles put a meme which he thinks perfectly sums up the song lyric and they're all just so accurate.

This is by far one of my funniest ones. What even does that lyric mean? Does Rema really think hot eba is the sweetest thing he's ever eaten? Hot eba? Not even the soup, the eba? Why? 😂

Tekno's lyrics are... 😂 See, if you know Tekno's music then you know as good as his songs are, those lyrics...I have no words for those lyrics. Like, what is this:

I love Wizkid and I'm such a big fan of his but abeg what is going on here?

Even when this song initially came out and regardless of how big it became, everybody even then agreed that these lyrics just don't make any sense.

Why? P-Square please why on earth is she making you bark? 😂

10. Timaya

Timaya like so many singers decided to brag about the size of his money on his song but this kind of bragging, me I no know o!

Why? Please, why? If the phone was already dead, he could have even charged it inside airport. E no make sense! 😂
