My Review On Lucifer

This TV show I absolutely love.

The show Lucifer takes place in when the Devil decides to take a vacation from Hell. Lucifer is supposed to be the ultimate evil but maybe that's not what it seems. The show circles around humanizing the antihero. With appearances of Cain (Tom Welling) we see the deeper understanding of the story of Cain and Abe.

WARNING SPOILERS:

The Ultimate storyline is how they brought in Cain the first murder on Earth. The script is wonderful.

The psychological aspect is quit brilliant with Cain not feeling remorse and with everyone thinking God has cursed Cain. In fact, he cursed himself. It goes to show us we are all our own worse enemies.

When Cain fell in love with Detective Decker, he realised when his mark disappear, "God lifted my curse and I'm no longer immortal."

Cain what he wanted was probably the most impressive scene after he lost his mark he wanted it back.

But he brought that mark to himself when he didn't feel remorse for killing his brother.

This I believe to be a metaphor for us not feeling remorse for bad things we do, big or small.

Lucifer on the left, Cain on the right.

This is the very definition of self infliction metaphorically, of course.

Lucifer harbored resentment towards his father after being cast out. Mother issues weighing heavily.

Some of this we all can relate to, at least I can.

Detective Chloe Decker

God blessed Chloe Decker, a human woman, to be Lucifer's true soulmate and love interest. On the show she looks like she never sleeps, there are a lot of sexual tension between the detective and Lucifer.

I'm on season three almost in season four. I'm still waiting for the sexual tension to leave. Chloe and Lucifer finally getting intimate. But so far nothing yet.

After Chloe learns the truth

When Chloe learns the truth of Lucifer actually being the Devil. She just has this look on her face and walks away.

Running away is a common reaction when we learn a hard truth. Chloe tried not to assume that someone she cared for was fake, but I think she was unsuccessful. After Lucifer has told her the truth, on multiple occasions still thought he was speaking metaphorically.

I found her personality wild and hungry to solve homicide cases.

It put me in the middle of a better version of Castle, a show that used to be on ABC.

Lucifer can really sing, so episodes have him sing. Tom Ellis, who portrays Lucifer Morningstar as his best role indeed.

The episode Once Upon a Time is like a butterfly affect episode. The butterfly effect episode isn't my favourite episode at all. Like a what if episode?

The storyline of Lucifer and Chloe seems to take a drastic turn when the show goes to a new network.

The show is kinda dicey and complex. Yet it does interest me, when Eve appears on the show as Lucifer's first love.

As I keep watching the seasons, I'm almost in season six. I feel conflicted about the upcoming seasons.

Lucifer Morningstar is the antihero of the show. But as the progresses there is a lot of character growth. There are a little minor plot holes.

Thank you for taking the time to read this review. I am really grateful for that. If you could leave your thoughts on the episode, heart, and leave an insight, that would be very appreciative. Please take the time to leave a tip I would be grateful.

My next review is to be continued... Where inspiration comes, I will surely let you know. My writing I feel like it has changed, exceptionally. This college writing class has taught me so much.
