The United States, since its inception, has cultivated a culture where the consumer is the one fueling the economy. If you're a born US citizen or like myself, grew up here for most of your life, then this concept is not shocking.

That said, we're in control. Whether we choose to go out to eat or purchase groceries, hit that purchase button on our Amazon cart, or simply shop at retail stores, we move this money forward.

This also pertains to things we do on the regular, i.e. streaming our favorite music. How does this spur the economy? When streaming, high profile artists, top charters and independent artists get paid. Why not support this cause when now we can reap the benefits too?

Introducing a new way to consume content with Sweet™ where music enthusiasts and creators alike can come together to share, listen, stream and play.

Full disclosure: Sweet™ does not reward its users with money. The advertisement is slightly skewed when it says that "now you can get paid for streaming" - be warned that the only way to generate revenue is to sign up as a content creator yourself. As a user, you are being rewarded with "SUGAR". Before you roll your eyes and exit out of this article, hear me out.

Sweet™ launched October 14, 2019 and is unique in the sense that gives both consumers, influencers and artists a platform where they can all take advantage of the perks in one way or another. For users, it's a great place to listen to new music, discover new songs and learn about upcoming projects. Artists and influencers can be virtual hosts of trivia games or live shows in which it gives fans access to exclusive content.

Therefore artists and influencers can sign up to drive music streams, engage and talk with their fans and gain revenue. Signing up takes seconds and from that point forward...happy streaming or creating.

These points will allow you to exchange them for cool gadgets like Apple AirPods, noise cancelling headphones, celebrity shout outs, signed artwork, music video cameos, concert tickets and more.

I know what you're thinking. Why waste time to sit around and accumulate an impossible amount?

Keep in mind that rewards will change from month to month and so do their sugar values. So if your sugar points aren't sufficient or there is nothing in the marketplace that you want, you can save those points for later.

How are sugar points awarded?

Simple tasks like playing trivia games, sharing content on social media platforms, saving songs and albums, referring friends, and by and large streaming different types of genres, songs, all the while discovering new releases.

I'm a big sucker for applications that offer some type of compensation, whether monetary or otherwise, it makes their mission that much more enticing.

When I came across Sweet™, I was skeptical because there are so many advertisements that come across my Instagram feed that sound a little bit too good to be true.

I listen to music from the moment I get out of bed until the early hours of the following day. The play button is always on. No way that it would be that easy to gain points...but it is.

What sets Sweet™ apart from other apps is that there is a real life component where fans can gather at "Sweet Spots" and hunt for points, but given our current predicament in which we have to stay put, we can let that feature rest for the time being.

Average point(s) per day for the ultimate music streamer: 2000+

Average sugar value of a high end reward: 5000+

Press play, hit the treadmill or the race track and stream on.
