Love is one of those things we all want to experience and be in. We yearn for it, and once we get it, we realize it’s the most beautiful while still being the scariest as well. We sometimes even start a relationship knowing it won’t last, but the passion is so intense we think we can get through anything. We soon learn this is not always the case, passion and love are not enough. As you try to love your way through you begin to loose yourselves in an attempt at trying to love enough for both people. In these circumstances a great song says the things you feel and the sounds of the music and the lyrics of the song assist in he healing and helping us get through the pain. As we start to realize something is off, we start to detach to protect ourselves. A great song will pull those emotions out of you and in its own way help you to heal and realize what you are feeling. Sometimes we don’t have the words to explain it, but a song will hit the nail right on the head. Listening to songs like:

James Arthur - Train Wreck

Olivia Rodrigo - Drivers License

Justin Bieber & Benny Blanco - Lonely

Melanie Fiona - It Kills Me

Tate McRae - You Broke Me First

La’Porsha Renae - Good Woman

Halsey - Without Me

Keyshia Cole - I Remember

These songs all speak of your hurt, your pain, the emotions you may be trying to hide. These songs pull those emotions up and force us to deal with them. Most of the time we don’t know how to deal so we get angry because the person we love hurt us. We start to see that our pain is caused by the person we trusted most. We feel some type of way. We begin to understand our feeling more, and all those negative emotions surface. Feelings of betrayal, anger, and recentment pull you down. Then we some how start to gain the confidence to stand up for ourselves. In this situation songs like these pinpoint those feelings just right:

Bahari - :( (Love is no enough)

Halsey - Bad at Love

Rozzi Crane - Half the Man

Sia - Elastic Heart

Alicia Keys - A Woman’s Worth

Demi Lovato - You Dont Do It For Me Anymore

Fergie - Love is Pain

When you have towalk around and see happy loving couples everywhere or see them while scrolling through your feed, it resurfaces the pain and anger. During Valentines season those feelings are even worst. Everywhere you look all you see is love. Its just a reminder that its not enough and you look a them with both jealousy and pity. Pity for those that will soon feel the pain you feel, and jealousy because you remember the amazing feeling of love in the begining. The crazy mix of emotions can only be tamed by more amazing sad love songs. In this situation, allow some of these songs to help get you through.

Christina Perri - Jar of Hearts

Christina Aguilera - You Lost Me

Beyonce - I Care (Homecoming Live)

Lauryn Hill - When It Hurts So Bad

Selena Gomez - Lose You To Love Me

Lauryn Hill - I Use To Love Him

Some music is so classic that even when you are not in the sad breakup phase, or single sad phase of your life you can still listen to them. I believe that the frequency in the music is what assist us in our healing. When a person meditates they sometimes use a singing bowl. Singing bowl let out different tones. These tones help to balance and ground us. So it makes perfect sense that music can do the same. he pich of a snger, the beat of the drums, the cord of a guitar; they all send out melodies that our hearts can understand. There is somthing very beautiful abou that.
