Looking For New Songs?

New songs that you love are hard to find sometimes. This is a fun game to find new artists and new songs of all genres. My friends and I use to play this all the time. We referred to it as "The Word Game". We usually used Spotify as we have premium, but could probably be played on any music platform. So, here's the game. Pick a word or phrase and type it into the search bar. After that choose songs and pick the first one that you don't know. Sometimes we would use a random word generator. Example time. Let's use the word "Crowd".

Then click on the one that you've never heard of. In this case, it's "CROWD by LXST CXNTURY" I clicked on it and it's not my style, but that's part of the game. Click here to hear the song.

I promised some of my favorites. Now I have some from a lot of different genres so, I'm going to separate them by genre for those who don't want to go through all of the song suggestions. DISCLAIMER: Most of these songs are Explicit!

R&B/Soul

The first suggestion is " Zero by Chris Brown" This song has such an I don't care anymore vibe. Mixed with a good beat it is a really good song. Really good breakup song too.

" Vibrations by Croosh" is more of a lovey-dovey song that is perfect for just chilling out and trying to relax.

"Job by August Alsina, Anthony Hamilton, Jadakiss". This is the perfect song for people that work so hard to better their situation. Definitely Hard working anthem.

" Relapse by Marc E Bassy FT. Iamsu!" Chill vibe with a nice beat definitely a dirtier song.

" Oh Please by Kate Rawlings, Mattew Goodman". Her voice is absolutely beautiful. Very good for inspiration.

Alternative/Indie

"Heart by Rainbow Kitten Surprise" Gives off a swaying, playing in the background song with a great message.

"Adhd by Truslow". This song is for those who feel like an outcast, but want an upbeat anthem.

"Free by Florence + The Machine". A very upbeat song with a deep meaning about trying to feel free and the struggles of life.

Country

"Relapse by Chase McDaniel" It's about a toxic relationship and how he's addicted, but it's such a good song.

Dance/Electronic

"Driveway by Culpriit". Such a good song it's definitely a dirty song, but one for couples.

" Oh My by Ookay, Taska Black, pronouncedyea". Great song for people who like songs with amazing beats and a slightly sad meaning.

Pop

" Under the Sun by Rhys Lewis." It's a sad love song about breaking up, but how he's tried to get her out of his mind.

" Goodbye by Who Is Fancy". It's about breaking up and having to goodbye.

Christian

" Redeemed by Big Daddy Weave" This song is about being redeemed by Jesus Christ and how he feels free. Also, Big Daddy Weave's voice is so amazing.

Techo

" Stop It by FISHER" It's a song that is good to get lost in your own mind. It has a great beat.

Metal

"Duality by Slipknot". Great song for when you need to let anger out.

Theater

"Wait For It by Leslie Odom Jr. and Original Broadway Cast of Hamilton". Great song for when you're feeling out of control.
