J Sherea- Way More Than Just Music It’s My Life

J_Sherea is a 26 year old New Jersey native who was born in Cleveland, Ohio. As a child Jessica always inspired to work in the legal field as an FBI agent. At the age of 8 is when she realized that she had other talents which included writing poetry.

One of the main areas where Jessica lacked when she was young was in the self-esteem area.

Throughout childhood Jessica bounced around from foster home to home facing many obstacles. The way she learned to cope was by writing. Jessica than started turning her poetry into song lyrics. At the age of 8 is when she found permanency with her biggest influencer; her adopted mother. Her mother was a professional gospel singer in a Gospel Choir who also introduced her to singing by getting her started in the youth church choir. Her adopted mother noticed her talent at once and helped her by teaching her how to be a great woman, but by also helping her to improve her self-esteem and to always love herself first. One of the main life lessons that was instilled in her was to love and cherish her loved ones.

Music has always been the only thing that got her through every obstacle she faced. Her biggest music influencers have been Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Jessie J. At the age of 17 Jessica was out in the world on her own to face her future. For a while Jessica struggled with trying to figure out what her next steps were going to be. In 2014 Jessica took her first leap of faith into the music industry by auditioning for the popular Tv show called The Voice. After auditioning Jessica was pulled to the side and told that she has a nice voice but that she needs to work on stage presence. While staying encouraged Jessica took her time perfecting her craft as a songwriter but also working on future career goals.

Jessica enrolled at Camden County College and then later transferred to Fairleigh Dickinson University where she majored in Criminal Justice to pursue a career in Law enforcement.

After attending College for 3 years she than decided that she needed a change because she was unhappy with where her life was heading. In 2017 after giving birth to her son she decided it was time to make a change and figure out what she really wanted to do in life. Jessica took a break from school and just focused on working to provide for her son. In 2019 Jessica decided that it was time to follow her dreams. Later that year in July, she enrolled at Full Sail University to pursue a degree in Audio Productions to become a song-writer and a music producer. She has always believed that in order to truly be happy in life, it is best to follow your dreams. Jessica knew in order to instill certain life lessons in her son that she would have to make sure she is living by them. Jessica is focusing on herself and her music dreams to be able to give her son the best life he could possibly have. Jessica has set out to succeed and make a name for herself in this Industry. At this present time, she is producing and engineering for fellow artist to gain audience and a fan base. Look out for her new releases on June 30th.
