Hardcore Halloween Playlist
Top 10 tunes for a head bangin' Halloween
Halloween is a day when all the punks, goths, and eccentric beings crawl out from under their rocks and rejoice in the spooky season. It's a time where they rule the streets, and their usual look is no longer considered strange or off-putting. They can embrace their authentic selves without any judgment, and damn, it's a good vibe!
Now it's time for a haunted playlist that I've created for those who celebrate Halloween all year round. So let's get "down with the sickness!" (pun intended).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We kick off with 'Broadcasting From Beyond The Grave: Death Inc. by Motionless In White' for its appropriate opening. I've chosen this song solely for its initial intro; it does a phenomenal job setting the mood for the spooky night ahead.
Next up, we have 'Living Dead Girl by Rob Zombie.' This song resonates with a whole range of people as it's renowned for its appearance in the horror film 'Bride Of Chucky.' The reason this song made the playlist is straightforward; other than my obsession with Chucky like plenty of other horror buffs out there, it would've been a crime not to add this song. You can't help but mosh along whenever you hear it!
'This is Halloween by Marilyn Manson.' I was conflicted between selecting the original soundtrack from 'Tim Burtons - The Nightmare Before Christmas' or this version. However, I decided to use Marilyn Manson's cover, seeing as I designed the playlist to include artists the everyday metalhead would know.
Moving on, we have 'Wake The Dead by The Used.' I've been listening to The Used since I was a child, and this song was a fitting choice; as you move through the playlist. It offers a fun, spooky vibe made for a bangin' Halloween playlist.
Okay, up next, we have a song that just so happens to be from my all-time favorite band from my teenage years, and that song is 'House of Wolves by My Chemical Romance.' I go way back with this band, so when the opportunity came to include them into the mix, I wasn't going to miss my chance!
'Helena by Misfits', what kind of a Halloween playlist would it be without the Misfits! Helena has a real head bangin' beat, and with its visual lyrics, it leaves no room for disappointment in giving you those horror vibes.
Following, we have yet another Misfits song; we have 'Dig Up Her Bones by Misfits' This song was released in 1997, giving it that old-timey, punk feels to the playlist, which is a must-have for Halloween!
Alright, another song with Halloween in its title, we have 'Halloween by AFI.' AFI has always held a special place in my heart, and this is just an absolute banger of a song. Not forgetting to mention how super fitting it is for this themed compilation, adding this was a no-brainer!
As we come down the list with 'Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold.' This song is jam-packed with metaphors and guitar riffs that take you further into the night with high energy. Why wouldn't I add this one to the list!?
Finally, we conclude with 'Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare.' Chosen to be the finishing song for the lasting impression it leaves on all its listeners. To finish on a high note is always a good idea, which is why this is the song to do just that. Hopefully, it leaves you with sweet nightmares, you bunch of beautiful outcasts!

Thank you all for listening and joining me on this spooktacular journey! I hope your Halloween is as spooky as you are!
