Oppenheimer's Exposition Problem
A scene requires conflict, or conflicting perspectives. However, the first forty minutes 'Oppenheimer' are filled with conversations where characters segue awkwardly into nuclear physics exposition with little purpose, and little conflict, making it obvious that the conversation is for the audience's benefit alone. This flaw mars an otherwise brilliant film.
