There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. Jaul-ket stood before a demonic beast. It was filled with such vitriol, Jaul-ket thought the dragon could see through him. This dragon was captured from the Valley, was it here to end Jaul-ket’s life? What other way could this story end?

There is a shot in Schindler’s List of a Jewish family stuffing precious rings, necklaces, and jewels into carefully cut cubes of bread to avoid confiscation from the German soldiers. They have placed the most valuable items they own within the most perishable, fickle items they have.

Generational Fruit
My father was a cultist. I don’t remember much from those days, other than this. I remember lying on the torn-up couch in the living room, watching Tom and Jerry on the weekends until I fell asleep. That's when I was at my father’s house, every other weekend. On Saturdays, I wasn’t allowed to sleep on the couch.
