From Second Base to Forever
Cassie sat on the edge of her bed contemplating what to do for the day, a rare day off. Her life was not how she expected it to be at 34. Where was the husband, the home? It wasn't that she had a bad life, quite the opposite, but it was a long way from what she had envisioned only a few months ago.

Full Circle Thrifting
Ask anyone I know, yes anyone, and they will all tell you the same thing - Sue is thrifty and just a little lucky. Sue hates to spend money, especially when there are perfectly good items out there waiting to be recycled and reused. Perhaps most of all, Sue likes to make money off items she cannot personally use.

Kiwis - Fruit or fiction?
Kiwifruit, small, brown and fuzzy but oh so delicious. Yes they can be a bit of a pain to peel or perhaps you prefer to cut them in half and scoop out the tasty, nutritious pulp. So versatile you can use it for toppings, fruit salad, smoothies, garnish or my personal favorite, on top of a pavlova. M-mm! Love them or hate them, they have an intriguing story, one which surprisingly, few people know.

In Pursuit Of A Stranger
Lilly was happy to sit for a while. It had been a busy day at the bank and she had welcomed closing time. Having an unreliable car had a silver lining, she loved walking through Riverside Park on her way home and would often stop to watch the sunset. Of course, she would have to eventually get her car fixed but summer was on the way and she could make do for a while. Right now she needed her pay for a part time caregiver for her ailing mother and for her night classes. It would be well worth it when she was a certified financial planner.
