Caye Caulker — Caribbean Island Travel Diaries
First Impressions Caye Caulker is such a teeny tiny island that at first glance it may fool you into thinking that it might not have much to offer. But sometimes the best things do come in small packages and this pint-sized, adorable, a little rough-around-the-edges Caribbean island quickly became my new favourite place in Belize.

Travel Diaries — The Ridiculous Ups and Downs of a Day in San Pedro, Belize
Morning San Pedro was our first stop in Belize and was a breath of fresh air, it felt as if we had left Central America and jetted off to the Caribbean. (Belize is often considered a Caribbean country in Central America, it is completely different from surrounding Mexico and Guatemala)

Isla Mujeres — From the Sublime to the Ridiculous
First Impressions When arriving in Isla Mujeres you may be forgiven for thinking that you have left Mexico and entered some sort of Mexican-themed island in the USA. A place that exists solely for middle-aged tourists to suddenly lose all use of their limbs and suddenly have to resort to using a golf buggy every time they want to travel more than two feet. We considered forgiving Isla Mujeres for this barrage of bum bags and socks and sandals because the island itself was lovely.

Why Being an Uber Driver in Cancun Puts You in Serious Danger
I love it whenever Uber is available when we are traveling, this is for several reasons. It’s easy to use, I don’t have to worry about figuring out the local currency when I very first arrive, and I know exactly how long the wait will be. This makes a 3 am arrival a hell of a lot easier to navigate.

Intro Isla Cozumel is a tropical island located off the Caribbean coast of Mexico and on the MesoAmerican barrier reef (the second largest coral reef in the world). It’s no surprise that it is known for world-class snorkelling and diving in its turquoise waters.

15 Mouth-watering Foods You Can’t Miss in South Korea
Intro Before I moved to South Korea, I was a very different person. I had never tried or even heard of any Korean food. I wasn’t a big fan of rice (Korea’s saying is, “It’s not a meal without rice.”) I couldn’t handle anything hot, and I was terrified of a mere molecule of chili. I fully expected to hate it.

Trying to Fit into Korea’s One Size Fits All Beauty Standards
Shopping in South Korea I loved Korea’s vast underground shopping malls. Mazes of the wonder that is Korean skincare, beauty and makeup. Blemish balm (BB) creams, snail serums, volcanic clay masks, foot peel socks, great sugar scrubs, and beautiful lip stains, to name a few. One of my biggest regrets is not filling up a suitcase of these goodies when I left!

Why Xel-Ha in the Riviera Maya is Not Your Average Water Park
Intro If I told you that I went to a water park that only had one slide, you’d probably assume it was the world’s worst waterpark! But not this time! Xel-Ha Park in the Riviera Maya is based in an inlet of the Caribbean Sea and is an incredible spot for more natural water activities making full use of the natural landscape and wildlife. It’s unlike anywhere I’ve ever visited.
