Seafarers vs Dragons 2
My tower towered over most of the kingdom. The people would have to be accepted into the palace first. Then they could take the many steps the circled around the tower. Once at the top you entered into a beautiful balcony with two ornate columns holding up an intricately decorated roof. The roof then attaches to a room with big wide wooden doors that were almost always open. You would enter to seem me laying on my hoard of treasures. Catered too by all manner of servants. And when the offering window closed and I was left with only my attendants I would step out onto the balcony and measure my wingspan with the columns and stare out onto the kingdom, and listen to the never-ending sound of the human society growing. There is now only silence.

The Midnight Manor
The gravel cracked and crumbled underfoot as vapor escaped my lips to join the fog. This hallowed gray hour, that was no longer evening, and yet not quite the dead of night, passed slowly leaning closer toward the latter. The cold swept through the wind, like knives piercing through thick layers of coating straight to my bones. I allowed myself one last look back before getting in the car. As I got in, I let the clank of the door ring in that overwhelming silence, and sat hoping the past would always remain sealed and concealed behind a barrier of thick gray fog.

Power
The bank’s branch manager looked at the terms and conditions again. The small agreed upon location for this discussion was dimly lit. On his side of the long table to his left sat the three top bank lawyers whispering feverishly. They were two seat spaces away from him. On his right his boss and bosses’ boss had the same confused expression.

The Robot Hears a Siren
Scanning… This area was once a city. Now there is only hardened dirt and trash. Metal plate found, 50 yards ahead through the rubble and decay. T-71 also detected a few others in the vicinity that were scavenging parts and repairing broken down robots. It is getting harder to recover those who did not make it out of the acid rain. Often there is nothing left to do but recycle their parts. There is also starting to be less and less salvageable materials in the left-over human trash.
